Sad and lovely all at the same time. Nicely balanced, and little Dean was just perfect - as if it was Dean born again. Nicely written.

I read this awhile ago but didn't review - not because I didn't thnik it was a great piece of work, but because I didn't know how I felt at the time with your storyline. It needed to be addressed, but when I read it, it actually floored me with the possibility... So here I am again, haunted so I came back. I still feel a bit numb reading this... Sam's collapse at Sarah's was so sad. That's great writing to have your readers living and breathing your story, you sure had me! Glad Sam had his son, especially with Dean's traits. Your words "Dean was gone, and Sam was lost without him"...OMG *sob*... Powerful work!!
Author's Response: I'm really glad you liked it. I was worried about the response it would get. Dean dead is obviously nothing any fan wants to see. It's a possibility though and needed to be addressed. This was actually one of the first stories I wrote for the show, but I'm glad it still had the impact. I'm really glad you liked it. The story is quite endearing. It gives one direction of the Winchester story, though I would not like the TV series to end up like this. Nice one!

That was so emotional! I just kept wanting Sam to find a way to bring Dean back. The part about needing to keeo moving...anyone who has experienced true grief could relate.

I really liked this. I didn't like the fact that Sam was unable to save Dean but I did like the fact that Sam and Sarah got together and ended up having a family. It was still a sad story overall but a good one.
Author's Response: I don't like the fact that Dean died either, but we all know he's not going to die in the show so I had to do a little alternate reality and show that Sam would be okay either way. Glad you like it.
