This was a great chapter and i can't wait for the next one, which i hope will be soon.

I can see that there is going to be a few ghosties at this party and everyone will find out what Dean's hobby is, shall we say!!

Awesome chapter- well worth the wait- thanks Adder!!! And yeah- somehow- even knowing what those kids have in mind- even knowing it wont faze Dean- somehow doesnt make me feel very secure about it all...

I'm really enjoying this story. It touches me personally because my husband died of a disease he was born with and a lot of the struggles dean is going through, in some ways we went through too.  Hope dean has a better outcome though.

 Anxiously awaiting the next update.

Okay, I don't know if I am too sensitive these last days, but this tiny sentence from Sam : "To mom", brought tears to my eyes !!!

MIT, Dean... we can find here some pieces of your other story "that's my boy" : that's cool to be  coherent ;o)

Great chapter, I love the way you tie the threds of the story from the past and present together.  Good to have Dean doing well at school too.  We all know he is so not stupid.  Really love this story, many thanks for writing it.

Hey Judy, thank you so much for updating, this was an awesome and touching chapter and I have eagerly been awaiting it. Poor Dean, I can feel for him. I was threatened with a nasal feeding tube once and just the thought of it freaked me out. I was ready to run away from the hospital...You described Dean's feelings throughout the whole chapter very well. I wanted to reach out to him so bad. I also loved that you made "The Outsiders" his favorite book. When I came to the US for the first time in my life so many years ago -on a high school exchange- my host family introduced me to the movie and I got the book. I read it over and over and it is still one of my favorites today. I will always remember the line: "When I stepped out into the bright sunlight from the darkness of the movie house, I had only two things on my mind......" Hm, I still have that book on my shelf... Thanks for the nice memories. I sure hope Dean's way through life will be easier than the ones of the boys portrayed in "The Outsiders". But I can see why Dean likes the book.  How much more is there to come for him? I'm looking forward to the next update. Thank you!

Loved this chapter - the interactions between Bobby and Dean were awesome - just perfect. Poor Dean = how much more can the poor kid take???

Loved your take on Jefferson...

So is it possible that we are about to find out how Dean got the amulet????

Thanks for this new chapter. I loved when jefferson said to bobby that dean asked for him as well as for his dad. That was really sweet ! Things are getting worst for that poor Dean, I hope he will be better soon (well not so soon, I don't really want this stroy to end ;o) !!)
