good story. Dean losing his memory then having it come back in breaks and then finally figuring out the Demon could give it all back. liked the last chapter and how his and Sam had a life along with hunting. again good job Renee
Author's Response: Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed the story.

Good story. Faust paralells are the way to go.
Author's Response: Thanks for reading. Faust is the way to go although I struggled slightly with it.

The ending is so sweet...i always thought that Dean would make a great dad.... :)
Author's Response: Dean would make the best father in the world - I'm convinced of that as well. Thanks for reading.

I love the story - not sure how long ago you finished it but it is great. Of course I am a sucker for stories where Dean saves himself. Love the kid - too cute and a great mixture of all the people he comes from.
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked the story. I'm also glad you liked Johnny. I, personally, love him to death.

I love happy endings, this was really good! I want you to write more! hehe....
Author's Response: I love happy endings as well. The story started out with the idea of little Johnny.

Hey, I finished the second half of Knees and it's only a quarter after midnight, not half-past like last night. Wonderful second half of the story, loved little Johnny - and I knew this woud end with another bike ride. But I didn't figure out how Dean got out of his deal until I read your last sentence. Ah, just curious, why'd you pick Tulsa, OK for Mary's gravesite? All I knew from the ep (CSPWDT) was that it wasn't Lawrence, KS. Looking forward to reading the prequel!
Author's Response: I'm glad you decided to finish the story, and I'm also glad you enjoyed it. I, too, loved Johnny. I'm in my half mind just to write a story completely about him. I have this wonderfully cheesy story all mapped out. Haha. Tulsa? Umm... I just picked it. I picked it awhile ago for my story "Extempore" about Mary and John so I used it again.

Hi, Ive just read your story in one sitting and i thought it was brilliant. Loved the idea of Dean getting his happy ever after. Looking forward to the prequel.
Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it. I do love happy endings even though there is no such thing. I hope you like the prequel just as much. Thanks for reading.

*squeals with joy* 'pala has got to be my new favorite word of all time! You rule. (But Johnny's cooler) Fantastic job and I can't wait for One Fell Swoop!!! *sits on edge of chair asking "Is it here yet???"* ~Shade
Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoy the word 'pala. I debated for several minutes whether or not to capitalize the 'P'. Haha. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I hope that you enjoy OFS just as much. Thanks for reading.

Wow. This is awesome. I've been reading this in one sitting. Love the way you've merged What Is and What... with Dean's amnesia. For a while I thought Sam was dead and that was the reason for Dean's amnesia, glad that's not the case. Totally intrigued by the Second YED, too. It's past midnight and I've got to stop for now. Keep up the great work!!
Author's Response: Don't you love reading stories in just one sitting without having to wait for updates? WIAWSNB was one of my favorite episodes - not to mention I simply loved Carmen (as well as the actress) so I had to find a way to have them end up together. I'm glad you enjoyed it and I hope you enjoy the last few chapters. Thanks for reading.

Great story! I hope that Dean does get a real life some day!!
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. I think we all want the boys to have a happy ending. Thanks for reading.

Just a little FYI: In your description of the inside of Carmen's house, you said it was homely, which means ugly or unattractive. Homey means cozy/home-like. Fun story so far!!
Author's Response: I hate when little blunders somehow manage to find themselves. I can never find my mistakes because it sounds right in my head. Thanks for pointing it out so I can fix it. Also, thanks for reading.

you executed this so well and i'm SO sad to see it's ended! but i absolutely without a doubt loved this story! it will always be one of my favorites and the ending was just awesome! i love that the kid is just a pint size version of dean. I was cracking up laughing! and sweet that they named him after his dad. ugh this was just such an awesome story with the best ending. Can't wait for the prequel.
Author's Response: I'm glad that you enjoyed it. I'm heartbroken this story is done with even though I have a boatload of stories to write/finish. Thank you so much for reading, and I'm thrilled that you liked the story so much.

I'm so sad that it's over. Dean's son is so cute. I love when he makes hi dad give the password before getting into the 'pala. Wonderful, loveable story!
Author's Response: I was too sad it was over. It took me forever just to type up the last chapter, because I didn't want it to end. Isn't Johnny adorable? I so want to keep writing Johnny. Thanks for reading.

I really, really liked it. So can picture Dean with little Johnny and Uncle Sammy is just priceless! I'm looking forward to more of your stories. Thanks for the good work!
Author's Response: I'm glad that you enjoyed it. I think Dean is wonderful with kids - even though he says he hates them - so I think they'd be the perfect family. I hope you like my upcoming stories. Thanks for reading.

Revealing chapter! Mary is descended from angels?! Incredible! Eager for more, but sad that it's almost over.
Author's Response: I'm glad you're enjoying it. Well, Mary isn't really related to angels. Her last name is Seraph but it's an ongoing joke between John and Mary - except only people who read "Extempore" would know that. Thanks for reading and reviewing.

I'm glad there's hope for Dean, especially because of Carmen and his unborn child. I like that Dean remembers Carmen from the Djinn world. I wasn't certain if that was going to be acknowledged. Keep up the good work!
Author's Response: Oh, Dean was always going to remember Carmen when he got his memory back and even sorta when he didn't Thanks for reading and reviewing.

oh so looking forward to that. cannot wait for the next chapter! you totally have me hanging on every word and holy crap this was a really good and awesomely interesting chapter
Author's Response: I'm glad you're enjoying it. Thanks for reading and reviewing.

I love this story! Awesome update. Don't worry about the dialogues, everything is very well written and very emotional. It was touching to see Dean's Mom appear. So Carmen is Dean's dream girl. But at least she and the baby are real. I am so hoping for a happy end here. As I stated in another comment: there definately is a need for "happy end Winchester-stories" out there. Well, let's see where you will take us... Oh, and please post a prequel! I would be along for the ride. Thanks for the good work :)
Author's Response: I'm glad that you weren't put off my too much dialogue. I try to always balance it with enough narrative, but this chapter was too involved. Some people hate too much dialogue, but I love it. A happy ending? Well, the story started out with the epilogue. I don't know if that's any indication on what's going to happen. You'll see very soon the ending. On various sites, lots of people want the prequel. It looks like it's going to happen. I'll probably take a short 2 week break before I start posting it though. We'll see. More info on that in the next update.
