Dean never had a choice once he realized the 'new ' world was all a lie. Quite frankly, I don't really understand why anyone would want to live in a 'dream'. I was very proud of Sam and his certainty that the world he and his brother had was worth the pain. Sometimes they waver, but at heart they both understand that. (Of course, season four is really straining that belief for our beleaguered brothers!) Always like these fics that expand on the quiet moments between the boys.

Thank you so much for this missing scene. It was such a great episode there really wasn't anything that you could take out to add the brothers reunion that you've given us here - kind of like your our personal Djinn!!
I'm soooo glad that you are posting here now - I hope that everyone here will get a chance to see more of your wonderful stories - I've read them all on that "other" site and can't wait to see them and more here. I'm always afraid that I'll miss something over there due to technical glitches...

I completely agree! I loved what we got at the end of the episode, but there was definitely room for more! Thanks for writing this missing piece.
