I enjoy reading this! i love flashbacks, and even more so when they are centred on Dean. :)

Well when I first wrote this I was thinking about doing a piece about the graduation, but nothing has really struck me for it just yet. truly enjoyed seeing our always"do the right thing" Dean trying so hard to fulfill his project requirements........ luck of the Winchesters....always bad ...glad Mrs Kulwinski saw our hero's potential......really enjoyed this thanks.......
Author's Response: Aw thanks Jude!! I would have loved to have seen Dean when he was about this age. Knowing that he was meant to be out there with his Dad hunting, but also probably knowing he had to graduate...had to have been tough. Or maybe it was easy, maybe high school was a piece of cake for him...we may never know lol.. But I'm glad you enjoyed!!

I really enjoyed reading this! As much as I love the angst and darkness, it was kind of refreshing to read something sweet and funny....it was also nice to see someone recognize Dean's potential and give him a break for once. Loved the visual of Dean carrying around a crying baby doll...not to mention baking cookies! Nice work!
Author's Response: Totally agree with you 100%...the dark forests are fun to visit but every once in a while you need a nice beach. :) Hopefully Dean got that many breaks, huh? Thank you so much!! I'm probably going to try for more nice little one-shots, I think I like the change of pace from my usual dark series tones... :)

Good to think Dean had at least some nice experiences in his childhood, I liked this s lot.

You can't have as good a humor as Dean does without at least some positive experiences. :) Plus I like the warm fuzzies I get when I read a nice, happy, light story or when I write one...angst is awesome, sometimes we all just need a break from it. :) Glad you liked it! nice story...glad to see dean passed his class!! loved that it relied on his having to watch a baby...course if it was a real baby no one could've probably handled it better than Dean...as he did save Sam from a burning house...so glad you posted!! thanks for the great read!
Author's Response: Yes, he did save Sam from the burning house, and tried to save the baby from the burning grave...guess that one just wasn't meant to make it! Lol... But in his dealings with Sam, I figured that's why he'd be good at cooking. And the sewing part, I'm sure he was sewing his dad up when he was just a kid. So thank you bambers!!
