Fantastic! I love how you let us know the highlights of the knife's existence without extracting from the story or its current mission.  Now everytime I see Dean's knife I'll remember this work.

Author's Response: Thanks, Shannon.  I'm so glad to hear you liked this.

Cool perspective I would never have considered.

This was very different and I love different. My fav part was the very end...

My duty and my destiny. His safety. I’m THE knife under the pillow.

Great work.

Schelz

Author's Response: Thank you, Schelz.  I'm pleased to know you liked this one.

that was different , but I liked it . its not often you actually think about the weapons the boys use . this will sound daft but it gives the knife a character of its own , when i watch the episodes with it in i ll think about your description now . great

Author's Response: Thank you.  This was a concept that just leapt into my head and I knew I just had to do it, even if it was a little on the strange side.

"black and amorphous evils" awesome phrase....chilling...

as he fulfills his duty, I fulfill mine......my duty & my destiny....his safety

Vanessa...so short & so simple...so deep and complex ....wow!!!

Author's Response: Thank you, Jude.  You set me to blushing over such kind praise.  I really appreciate you reading, reviewing, and leaving me some lovely stars!

Yes, THE knife... Hmm... So intriguing. I'm not a knife but I think you captured that knife's thoughts wonderfully. You brought it to life! I can only try to understand how you did it... Amazing job! I loved these lines: "My duty and my destiny. His safety."

Author's Response: Wow, well, thank you very much.  I really appreciate your kind and wonderful words about this piece!

interesting perspective from the vantage point of the knife...never really thought about it before...nicely done...bambers;)

Author's Response: Thank you, bambers.  It was a really odd idea, but once it was in my head, it wouldn't leave me alone.  LOL

Hmmm...wow! A lot of detail went into that knife, and I really like how you brought it to life! It's interesting...it seems so human...I really enjoyed how it was THE knife...not just a knife, but THE knife. Of course. It's Dean's knife, after all...!!!

Author's Response: Thank you.  I know it was a bit odd, but it was one of those ideas you just can't get outta your head.  Glad you enjoyed it.
