Good characterization of the brothers, both separate and together. Good mystery throughout the story, it definitely kept me hooked. You seemed to really get into their heads at times. You really stayed true to the characters, and I really like Dean's enthusiasm of the whole pirate thing – it's totally him. Can’t wait to see what happens! The brothers getting hit a frying pan – classic! This paragraph gave me chills, it was so well written (the whole thing was but this paragraph stood out to me): The difference between Dean's injuries and Sam's death was, for Dean there'd been no hope. His brother had been left with nothing to hold onto. Sam wasn't gravely injured, he wasn't given a few months to live, he was dead. Dean had held Sam as his life poured out of him, he'd carried his body after the chill of death had stolen any chance of a miracle.

Awesome story K! I loved the whole ride. Couldn't help but laugh at Dean's antics at the end and going with the pretty girl, so Dean. At least Sam gets so sleep in a large cushy bed for once.

Great ending to a great story! Adored Dean being pulled under the water by the Captain. I really loved this line: The world surrounding them might be out of Dean's control, but his own body was something his brother had learned to master years ago.

Way to bring it home Kel!!! Awesome ending!! - and we all know how hard those are to do. I'll miss this little story, though.... Loved Dean's second wind.... Loved Sam's surprise at Dean's little treat! And LOVE all the shout outs to Jaws. Ok - I'll bore you with my Jaws story.... I'm old enough that my mom took me to see it when it first came out. Unfortunately, she took me the night before I left to spend a month with my relatives on the east coast. As a treat while I was there, they took me camping - to the ocean - where they thought that I would go in the water - the OCEAN!!! with sharks.... I went in up to my ankles... I couldn't swim in pools with my eyes closed for years..... Back to you!!! Thanks for the ride Kel!!!!

very nice! upping the tension somemore with the whole "out to sea" thing...loved the comments about the sharks lol! When I went to Cape Cod my brother laughed at me cuz I was worried about them...Love that Dean was too! Nice brother banter as usual a great update to a great story! Can't wait to see ow you wrap this one up! Fave lines: "Shit, Sam, did you have to go and bring up Jaws. I mean come on, Dude, like killer pirates aren't enough."
