I never review. This Killed me In a v. v good way. Made me Laugh and Cry, seriously cry but honestly,
“We don’t have a dog, Sam,” Dean said in feigned exasperation.
“That’s okay, the neighbors don’t have a cat named Ghost, neither.”
Too funny.

Thanks for reminding me, there ARE good writers in the fandom.

This is a soft sweetly sentimental (in the nicest sense) piece. I enjoyed Dean's 11 year old embarassment at Sam's worship of him as a 'Mom', and Dean's wisdom, enforced maturity and unconditional love of his baby brother.
What a 'Mom' that boy makes!

'Duck and roll' !! what a classic! "that's ok, the neighbours don't have a cat named Ghost neither" !!Straight outta the mouths of babes, tooo funny! Sam's innocence always a breath hitching moment.
I just loved the magical kisses and lots of hugs, Dean's reaction - priceless!
Your description of Dean's reaction to the "what moms do" topic was stunning writing, I felt it strongly from your words, so sad. But his definite "I'm sure she does" spoke volumes about how much he remembers and misses. Brilliant!

Ok I LOVED this it was great and made me all tear-eyed! my favorite line was when Sam said "Duck and roll?" “Yeah, you know, like if a monster tries to grab you.”
I totally burst out laughing and I was chuckling at Dean's discomfort...totally well written and true to our beloved Winchesters!
