Nice setup, it was like a real episode, with the girl in the beginning, that scene told the reader a little about the case the brothers will be handling but left plenty of mystery.  Good suspense and twists that kept me hooked.  Good description words that really bring the scenes to life, example: The rabbit darted into the brush and the girl continued toward the light, shaking her head at what too many nights spent watching horror movies had done to her.  A few more steps down the path she stilled as an eerie sound shattered the silence.  It sounded like a child's cry, a baby screaming. Her breath came in shallow bursts and she felt her stomach cramp at the thought of someone--or something--behind her in the woods. Something bigger and stronger... something that could bite and claw... Being raised in the country allowed the girl to recognize it as the cry of a rabbit caught by a predator, but for a moment, she couldn't think beyond the skin-crawling sound. &The werewolf seemed to pause as he stood over Sam. As he reached back blindly, struggling to grasp a weapon—any weapon—Sam could smell the beast’s fetid breath, could see the threads of deadly saliva that dripped from his jagged fangs. As if it had all the time in the world, the creature reared and opened its mouth in a cruel sneer. Sam had the impression the beast was smiling, its gaze mocking and hate-filled.

That ending was freaky. I loved how this didn't end completely, that it was open. Gave it that X-files feel when the last scene shows the evil's still out there. Awesome work ladies! Thanks for the excellent ride.

Wow! I read this quickly just after you posted it and didn't have time to review. I knew that I would want to re-read it anyway.... This was a great story - and you've left us with a town full of werewolves - and the nastiest kind too! This is just a fabulous collaboration - something that truly transcends its parts to become something new. It is impossible to tell who wrote what - and I love both of your work so was looking for clues!

This chapter is just full of wonderful moments between Sam and Dean. Loved the whole scene with hot wiring the old truck - Dad would be so pissed, indeed! Landis?! LOL Dean's need to be more than a ghost - for people to know who Dean Winchester is - well - gah!

Again, thank you both for a wonderful story - I've really enjoyed the ride! I really hope we well see more from you both - together and separately.....

Ahhh, excellent ending! I like how it was more about their recovery and discovery rather than clean-up. And I liked how they didn't really finish the job...you know, the clean-up...and...and...I just...loved it...so much...Kudos...this was a Yahtzee...

Cookies to you! I know, that was a total give-away, but when I thought about turning on the Impala and the radio playing and the difference in the sound from the AM radio of the truck... the only group that seemed to work was Metallica, and Freyja had picked the *perfect* song for the story!
