Rivetting from the start to the finish. This was a thorough exploration of Dean's emotions although the star of the show was Caleb. I just loved how he took control of a volatile situation and worked it to get the boys out of trouble. I loved the interactions of all the Brotherhood men at various stages of this fic. Mac was awesome the way he stepped up despite his own reservations into Caleb's method.

 Your conclusion where Caleb directs each of the brothers to a headspace of acceptance and understanding was stunning, so well written. Caleb at his protective best - protecting young tender hearts and well and bodies in the field. Potential enemies from within as well as government departments, police and drunken kid bashers

Too many great lines to quote and reflect on, but I did love the baseball analogy!! I loved this whole fic to bits. Beautifully written, with exceptional description to put us right in the thick of things. You nailed it!

At the moment, anything would be better than the hot box of salmonella - That one statment so summed up the entire trailer.  Great story, thanks as always for the read - K

Sigh..I love Dean and Sam and Caleb stories. Again, very nice job, Ridley. One question though...what DOES happen when you put someones hand in warm water while they're asleep??
