Kris - I'm thrilled to see you over here! I read this over on the sn.tv site, and I read it again here on this one, and I think I loved it even more the second time around. That poignant scene of Dean not wanting to put his brother down, because it would mean he would have to face the cold reality - that just choked me up. That was a wonderful insight into what Dean was feeling. I loved the whole piece. Thanks hon....Jules

I wondered why the show didn't show any of that. There's alot of angst that Dean could've gone through. Jensen's really good at that. Thanks for the pictures in my head!

This was a really emotional one shot. I liked your choice of words. I almost felt like crying reading this. I could picture everything that was happening vividly.
Author's Response: It was pretty emotional, I had an interesting time writing it. I tend to lean towards humor, so this was a nice change for me. I always love hearing that a reader could visualize what I did while I was writing, if that makes sense lol. So thank you!! :)

Great missing scene. I loved the season finale, but I was also bothered that we never got Dean carrying Sam from the battlefield, as it were. Course Jared would be pretty darn heavy.... And really, what scene from part 2 would anyone be willing to give up?
