Oh...my...sweet...Lord!! I about fell off my chair with Sam's "double beef patty" line!! That was awesome! Ok, so this trickster wants Dean for a sacrifice? And her little minions are settin' him up. HE'S NAKKIE!! As a devouted Dean girl, I thank you for giving me that...It took me about five to ten minutes to get through that part...mmmmm...but I made it hahahahahaha... Great job! I know I say this every time, but great chapter, Jules! I absolutely love the humor and suspense you have going on here! Sam writing out his will had me laughing so much I was crying...that was just too damn funny! And I am happy Dean figured out Sam was drugged and Sam figured out what was going on. And all of these shady characters....just when I think I have someone figured out, you prove me wrong! And the cliffhanger and the teaser for what's coming...*gulp* I hate clowns... Update soon!
Author's Response: Sam writing out his will was actually based on my grandfather - he got so drunk one night that he though he was going to die - he told my grandmother about the little bit of money he'd hidden away in coat pockets and stuff...she of course went round when he fell asleep and collected the unexpected windfall, and of course he survived, and didn't have any recollection of his confession the next day. He's almost 95 now. And yes, clowns - well, Ronald... coming - and wet Sam...Jul

Sam figured out they're dealing with a trickster. It's getting worse and worse, Sam vanished without a trace and Dean is not aware about Sam's missing and the trickster. Great chapter Jules, can't wait for your next one.

Ok, so I feel like a complete dick for not figuring this out - the sugar was an awesome clue! Great chapter - loved Sam making out his will for Dean. Soooo Maggie doesn't really exist? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!! I thought it was Maggie...but then you said something about her being "killed" so I thought maybe it was one of her staffers. Lol I never would have guessed Trickster when this first started, but the sugar was the first thing. I'm amazed Sam didn't pick up on it sooner. ;) I love how you said "Sam always was the dangerous one." Just don't let you hear Dean say that bwahahahahaha... Great update girl!! BTW, I forgot to mention that I loved the scene with Dean and the rats. It was incredibly creepy, and Dean's absolute terror is palpable. And believable. The way he's hitting at himself and Sam's trying to stop him . . . ((sigh))

Thank God it's not Maggie!!!! You've made my day. I really like her and didn't want to think of her being in on it - but she does eat all that sugar... Speaking of which, I'm totally flumoxed by its significance... And this was just so sad - but excellent foreshadowing....: "It would take an end of the world type disaster for Dean not to want to eat." Sam's death certainly was the end of the world for Dean... Author's Response: Oh, Lam - don't hate me, please... Sugar significance is revealed in the next chapter which is going up in a few minutes, as the boys finally figure out who, or what, is behind it. And yes, I had the finale in mind when I wrote that line, as the boys leave here and go to the diner where Sam is snatched by the demon. I agree, Sam's death was the end of Dean's world - he lost more than a brother, it was like he lost his child. Big reveal in the next chapter...Jul
