Love this chapter too lam: Dean being insulted for Sam, Bobby trying to negotiate the perils of babysitting, John teaching Dean to shoot for the first time. And this is a great line: Bobby hoped that John's sons would be the motivation to keep him grounded in humanity. Beautiful! Keep going, it's great!

You're doing a good job here!! and there, i was just smiling As it turned out, Dean woke peacefully with a very soft groan. He cracked one hazel eye ever so slightly and there was a hint of a smirk on his face. "My name is Dean Winchester; I live in my awesome Impala; I hunt supernatural, creepy shit for a living; and I am the most awesome big brother ever. Goin' back to sleep now."
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review! I have to admit that I really like Dean's concussion mantra - I plan on using it frequently... In fact, should I ever have another concussion (only ever had one), I think I'll use it for that too!!

It was afine chapter.Lisa ...gave us some more great background on John's relationship with Bobby, and with his boys and more info on Bobby's background with the boys.........we all know the great affection he shows for them , especially Dean.......thank you so much

Author's Response: Thanks for the lovely review, K! There will be lots of talking to come. Also some whumpage to come, and I doubt I could get through an entire story without at least a little gagging somewhere... I really want to get this one right so updates may be a bit slow. Dean and Sam are always talking in my head, but I have to dig a little deeper for Bobby to really sound like Bobby if you know what I mean.

Is this the one lam? I already love so much about it.....Bobby, Ellen and Sam all knowing that Dean would say he was fine.... Dean's standard concussion speech that he had obviously given Sam every hour and a half....I can't wait to see what you are going to do with this! See you soon!
Author's Response: Yup, this is the one. I've changed the specifics (obviously) but Dean's standard concussion speech is actually modelled after my own - luckily I've had very few, having my own pretty tuff skull... I have to confess to being a bit nervous about this one. I'm really hoping that I can do Bobby justice. Thanks for reviewing!!!!
