Like the story about the witches. John can be such an ass sometimes. Its nice to have Bobby for balance. I like how you paired Dean/Bobby and Sam/Jim.

It's always seemed to me that Dean and Bobby share a special bond - there's the very firs interaction in Devil's Trap where they share the swig out of the flask, the look Bobby gives Dean when the boys are leaving his place at the end of BUABS and of course the speech in AHBL2...

Iam, I love your style of writing. You really capture the characters.Dean's "sorry" after his dying comment and the softly spoken "thanks, Sammy" were perfect! And the line about Bobby being a "slow burn" was spot on! Reading more now....

Glad you decided to carry on with this. I think there is a good story to be told with Bobby & John's history.... and if there happens to be a little hurt Dean in there along the way then I am not going to compain!!

I'm really enjoying this. Bobby's a good storyteller and definitely my favorite supporting character in the show so kudos. I loved Dean's line at the end, I was laughing queitly to myself: typical Dean. Take a beating to the head and still remain calm enough to reassure little brother. Well done and I look forward to reading more.

i love your version of Bobby, just how i imagine him and i really agree he is one of the few peaple that really 'see' Dean, more so than Sam does i think. (and yes, i'm going through your back catalogue and loving the Dean pain and Sam angst! )

Ha ha, I love the way you ended it! That sounds exactly freakin' like Dean Winchester! The last part totally made me laugh. The 'flashbacks' were really good too. They dove into an early hunter's psyche so well. I enjoyed reading this and can't wait for more!

This chapter didn't really need action! It was great with the introductory bit. Sometimes intros can get a bit...boring...but this moved quickly and was interesting throughout because of Bobby and his new acquaintances, and simply learning about all of them as younger people. Great job with that!

Don't be anxious, I thought this chapter was fantastic! The part when Dean comforted John after the hunt just got me. It was incredibly heartwrenching! I am really enjoying this story. Plese continue! Oh and Dean's 'I'm-still-conscious" spiel always makes me laugh. Great work!
