Thank you for giving some insight into what happened with Sam, how he grieved, gave up and almost lost everything save for some mutt of a dog - before Dean re-emerges and calls foul!  Loved how at the end Dean finally realises what losing him cost Sam.  Great story telling.

Really enjoyed that and wished we had had something like that at the end of the episode.

Thank goodness for fan fiction which gives us what the show doesn't!
