Okay.... So let's try this again!
I think I said something the first time about changing the ratings to allow Kleenex instead of Stars... Not that I'm prone to tears, but this one DEFINATELY has the ability to bring about some sniffles.
The hardest part of these stories, much less reading this on the heels of the eppy, is watching Dean struggle with what his hunter's instincts vs his feelings related to this being BOBBY.
You captured that turmoil so well in this piece in both brothers, yet with it being in Ghost!Bobby's POV, perhaps even morse so because we have his sort of omnipotence since we see it through his eyes too. It's even more palpable since he's kinda hurting right along with them.
When Dean sheds his trademark lone tear, I can almost FEEL Bobby's agony in that he CANNOT do anything to ease that pain, and worse because he knows he's the cause.
Yet, never giving up on family... Dean pulls the flask back to his chest... He'll find a way to make it work!
Love that end.... Can only hope that they do (although considering the eppy, I'm not too sure)
Great bit as I would expect!

Author's Response: If I can make someone cry (or in your case, sniffle a bit...haha) my work is done! I had a friend (who doesn't watch the show) read one of my stories on LJ one time (back when I posted a few there) and she sent me a message and said she had no idea what was going on but I had made her cry! LOL That still made me feel pretty good though because if I can evoke even part of the emotion from someone that Supernatural does from me, then I feel as though I've done okay. Of course, part of that is having the awesome characters to draw from to start with.
I just don't know where the writers are going with this one but I expect to see more turmoil before it's over. The boys are not going to want to see Bobby turn into a vengeful spirit but at the same time, it's Bobby....they will want to try and fix it.
Thanks so much for the awesome review, Tree!
