Oh no! Not Sam, too! I can see how Dean would tell himself that Asher was safe. I think deep down he really knows she isn't but the repercussions of that are too much for him to consider at this point. It could be wishful thinking, too.

Oh, I love when Dean gets beat up. It makes me want to take care of him. And since Asher's no where around... Danger Will Robinson! Hilarious! With everything that's happening it's funny that Sam is worried about Dean kicking his ass for the damage inflicted on the Impala. Lots of action---- loving it! I like how you got back and forth between the boys.

Cool how you end Sam's part with a head injury and begins Dean's with the same. Funny comment about the Amazons. I'm glad you left it in. I think it's neat how many writers use the same ideas that eventually show up on Supernatural. DEan's train of thought in this chapter is really funny how he goes from humorous to sober in the blink of an eye. Naked Dean! Yeeeha!!! Let's hope there aren't any rats. I hear they attack tender flesh first. LOL! This wall was gonna come down. Awesome! So Dean Winchester.

I love it! we're smack dab in the middle of the action. the conversation between Sam and the cop was funny, especially the part about his brother being ugly and not wanting to get that up close and personal. Funny how Sam reacted to finding their clothing, especially when he realizes it was Dean who'd torn off Asher's blouse. Oh and that her... uh... panties were missing. :)

Author's Response: Bev, so glad you're enjoying this! Of course I hurt Dean. One rule of good fanfiction is a Winchester has to be in some sort of agony. Also, glad you like Asher. It's hard to come up with a woman for Dean. He's pretty complex and so not the relationship type. I'll get on the next chapter right away just for you, hon.

okay so i just stumbled across this site and your second chance series and i was immediatly hooked! :) i just love how your asher character compliments dean perfectly and all the other people are characterized wonderfully too even though things like relationships are nondeanlike. i will go back and comment individually on the stories but i just couldnt take a break from reading them haha. so far another lovely job on this one i just cant read the next story you have when my miinds stuck in this event in time. i know it must be difficult doing multiple stories at once but i really hope you update this soon. once again lovely job and thanks for sharing.

Yeah, we'll probably never see Dean settled with one woman ( I loved him with Lisa!) but he needs someone to love him so badly that I just had to make it happen. And Sam would be so cute with a sister to look after! I'm delighted that your stumbling led you to this site! I love it here!! Everyone is so nice and supportive. Yahoo! Thank you thank you thank you for posting this! I'm glad my whining paid off. However... it's much too short. I like that you recapped what happened in the last story (so I didn't have to go back and re-read it). But it isn't long enough by far. Sooooo.... next chapter soon? Yes? I'll even beg. See, I'm on my knees.
