Yes, it was good to see them laugh and joke again.  Even if it's for too brief a moment.  I enjoyed your drabble.  The descriptions were quite apt.

Author's Response:

It is always a joy to describe the Js.  Their emotion speaks to me, and to see Sam and Dean laughing and smiling was most welcome.

Thanks for the read & review, B.J.

I am just worried we are being set up with the "theyyyyy'rrreee baaacckkkk" to get our hearts ripped out again.

Of course, I do love that....

Author's Response:

Oh, I definitely know our hearts will be ripped out again before the season is through!  I don't mind the dark, seems to reflect on much that is going on in my own life right now, and I love seeing Dean struggle with his grief because I know he is strong and will show me the way through. And I absolutely LOVE the worry and love Sam has for his brother, that fear that he might lose him and how I know he will fight for him too.

But I also can't deny I love the comedic episodes and just seeing the brothers being brothers.  I love that Supernatural can meld the two and show us all aspects of the Winchesters' lives.

All I want now is Baby back!

Wonderful, BJ!! I think you've spoken in words the thoughts of many of us true fans. It was so wonderful to see the dynamics of the caring, loving brotherly relationship at the forefront again.

Author's Response:

Thank you! Yes, I think even I was a little numb to all the pain they've been going through and not able to react with total joy the first time I saw PPMM.  After two more viewings I've relaxed enough to really appreciate their camaraderie at the end.

I love how there is this instant where Sam does a double-take of Dean smiling and laughing, like he can't quite believe it and then his own smile breaks out and he chuckles.

And I know Bobby was smiling then too!
