That's a really lovely showcase of the brothers, especially Sam, and the Winchester way of disguising fear with anger.
I also like how Dean's learned to read his brother's anger and work to diffuse it - there was a great line there about Dean waiting Sam out until Sam actually started the conversation himself, rather than pushing him like John used to do. That was spot-on.
Love the way Dean tried humour and then backed down, waiting for Sam to quieten a little and tell big brother what was bugging the crap out of him.
Haven't got time to read the second chapter tonight, but I'll be back for it. I really like the way you write, and the way you dig into the characters' minds and mannerisms.
I was sorry to read that you had to delete your other story and repost it - I hope the formatting demons have been exorcised. But if you do keep having problems - don't delete - just contact Tree through the site and let her know you're having issues, and she'll do her best to sort it out for you.
