I didn't get a chance to read your other stories before jumping into this one. Loved all the background with Caleb and Jim, and how you wove elements of the series into the last chapters.  Really cool!

I am glad you enjoyed the weaving I did with the series and the story. I wanted to make John's final year and a half believable and follow what was established. I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapters. You've really created a great group of supporting characters that hold my interest and and intriguing plot that augments the original plot line instead of detracting. It's going to be interesting - faced with what he knows about Sam, yet with Dean at risk, how John is going to respond. While your John is a bit out of character, it's in a TOTALLY good way. I love it and now I think I'm going to have to go back and read your other stories in this series too.Btw... The opening piece in chp 1 with the Wee! Poker scene... Simply PRICELESS!!!!! Well written!!!!!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for the kind review! I am glad that you like the supporting characters I have created. John is a bit out of character. I started to write the series way back during season 2 when John's character wasn't fully explained. Based on JDM's portrayal, I developed John into a loving father. Therefore, in my older stories in the series, you will see that it no longer fits in with the canon story lines. Although, I must say, I am very happy you are going to read the other stories. I hope that you enjoy them. :)
