Loved it!!  I thought I was the only one who celebrates National Pie Day (and National Ice Cream Day).  Glad to see I have company.  I've never heard of grape pie.  Did you make that up or have you eaten it?

Author's Response: Nope, didn't make it up--Grape Pie is real.  When I was a kid (in Ohio), we had a family reunion every year and a relative of mine would make it every year and I remember liking it a lot.  Then I moved to Rochester, NY, (after marrying) and there's a small town near here--Naples, NY.  They have a Grape Festival every year and one of the most popular things is Grape Pie.  They sell them in the grocery stores here too.
