You must have trudged through the snow a time or two to describe that bone-weary exercize. Love the consistent referrence to rule breaking. It reminds me of when I was that age. Fathers' rules must be an infinite fact of life. I also like that she heard her brother's voice in her head and the seven dirty words. I'll bet her parents never listened to George Carlin. Great snowball episode! Love it when Dean is naughty!

This was an AWESOME chapter - I love how you do a kind of 360 degree pov of the scene - sorry it's taken me sooooo long to review - I'm swamped!!!! I'm hoping that Dean knifing that bitch through the heart is going to kill her and all the spiders..... course that would probably be too easy for the boys... gotta say, spiders dropping out of the dark onto Sam was reaching a whole new level of spicer-creepiness....

I could sure go for a mug of cocoa! I think I'm reading this at the wrong time of year---it's August. You've captured the beauty of winter. Deep snows are hazardous when you're driving, but heavenly when you're snuggled in a cabin with a flannel blanket! I'm ready to enjoy the story now that you've set the mood.
