I just wanted to say a quick thank you for sharing your story with us. 

 I thought you did a great job with Dean, Sam and Bobby's voices.  I could just imagine Dean and Sam's expressions when facing Bobby who was suppose to be dead.

I love your idea of a "SN"/"Highlander" crossover.   So I'm looking forward to reading the next chapter.

Thank you for your kind words. I am so glad others are enjoying reading this as much as I'm enjoying writing it.

I just sent chapter three off to my beta and am working on chapter four as we speak. You may be pleased to know that I just mapped out the whole story arc and it'll be about sixteen chapters long with a possible sequel. Turns out once Bobby starts talking to you the guy won't shut up. *grin*

This is an awesome take on what could have happened with Bobby. I will admit that I'm never one much for crossovers... but I love this premise and considering how well it could blend with SPN... I did love Highlander. Not to mention- Bobby sure did have a lot of obscure knowledge for a supposedly uneducated junkyard mechanic- now didnt he?

Your characterizations for all three- Dean, Sam and Bobby are just spot on... and I could just "SEE" the utter shock on both Dean and Sam's face when Bobby just kind reappeared in Chap 1.

I'm just kinda glad that Dean managed not to shot first... LOL

Great story so far. Well done with the blending! Now I just want to see Bobby with some baddass sword! hahaha

Thank you! The fact that you're not really a crossover fan and are still enjoying this is a huge compliment. And yeah- the guy has can read Latin, Japanese and even cuneiform, but he's just a highschool dropout and scrapyard owner?

And I'm glad you think I've got the characterizations down. I've never tried to write for them before, so that's a huge concern of mine.

As far as Bobby with a sword....well, I might just have something in mind for a future chapter. *evil grin*

I'm with you, I'm in complete denial that Bobby's dead. I really like the premise you've set up here and really look forward to more!

I love Dean in the beginning, you have really captured his voice. This promises to be a great ride. I hope you plan on posting more soon!

Wow. Thank you for the kind words. As I mentioned in my author's note I haven't written anything in a very long time and this is my first time trying my hand at writting Supernatural, so that Dean's voice sounds right to you is a huge compliment. Hopefully I'll do as well when I crawl inside Bobby's and Sam's heads.

Chapter 2 is about half written and I hope to post it next week. I also have ideas for future chapters rattling around in my brain so there'll definitely be more Immortal!Bobby coming.

WHAT!!!!!!    OMG,  Is this a Highlanderesk story??   I'm really hoping that when the boys come back from hiatus Bobby is with them.  Bad feelings about it though.  Looking forward to the next chapter, What are the boys to think about Bobby's revelation?  Thanks...

Yes, it's actually a SPN/Highlander/Deadwood triple cross (forgot to put that in the summary, sorry). I'm not too hopeful about what Friday's episode will bring, so this is how I'm keeping my favorite (non Winchester) hunter alive.
