I don't know how I missed this one earlier, but I'm glad I found it now. This was absolutely fantastic! I love the way that you can take so many different threads and weave them together to made such an intriguing story. I'm off to see if there is any more I've missed.

Thanks for sharing!

Great story.  I've marked you as an author to alert me to when you post new stories.  I didn't realize Until It Sleeps was one of yours, too.

The motherless child angle was intriguing.  You're a good writer, and I look forward to more of your stories.

beautiful warm and sad. cried my eyes out since the first chap. do not worry about how many reviews there are those who read but do not review. you are a good story teller always remember that. great story

Author's Response:

Gratefully, you are one who did review...and I thank you.

I'm also glad I made you cry, I was trying for sadness, as a little child without a mom, to me, is heart rending...

I waited until the story was finished which is why I haven't reviewed until now. This was fudgin' fantastic!!! The way you tied the loss of Mary with the boys not killing the deer while hunting with Bobby was amazing and unusual. And then you added actual supernatural beings into the mix!

The characters were in keeping with what we've seen unfold in the past 7 years and there wasn't any time in the story when I felt the boys or Bobby were OOC. This was an excellent work of fiction and it will be going into my favorites.

And yes, my mother died when I was 6 and I'm 49 now. You are always a motherless child.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much, I am honoured with the attention you have given me.  I try to write true to the story, I never portray Sam as weak in any of my stories as so many do...

The hurt Dean carries every day was born and worn from that fateful day when he was four.

Sadly, you know what I mean...

Maybe I'll cast my own demons in a story one day...this one touched on them..

I've been reading your story and, each day look for another chapter.  I had lost my password, so couldn't leave a review before.

This is an excellent story.  I really like how it goes back and forth, and I think you have the boys and Bobby right in character.  Look forward to more chapters.

Author's Response: Thank you for leaving your review, I am so flattered....I will have another chapter as soon as I can..

"Your prey"

Yeah- if that wasn't ominious! I'm shocked you didnt leave that as a cliffie right there. I could almost hear the music go "DUN DUN DUN!!!" LOL

I'm still trying to figure out how the past hunt is going to wrap up into this one- and now this whole deal about that kid saying that Dean saved him back then... stranger and stranger. Now these guys? Demons? Maybe??? And Dean is sure hiding something.... of course!

I have a feeling this is one of those stories that I'm going to have to go back once its all finished and read start to end just to pick up on all the little nuances... I'm sure you're burying in there- like you always do... and I'll smack myself in the head and go "Damn- shoulda caught that!"

T

Author's Response: Hey, T..reading & reviewing while you have a full time life is hard!!! Thank you, so much, and I'm telling you, I left a bigger cliffie than that one, you just didn't quite pick it up...which, of course, was my intention!!!

Well, I, for one, am loving it! I like the way you're playing with time, weaving everything together in a nontraditional format, but nonetheless weaving everything together. Ah, poor Dean.

Author's Response: Thank you so much...I'm finding it hard to get anything written at the moment, so a review is a blessing to my heart....

Gearing up for a tear-jearker huh? Well, definately in the spirit of the challenge- and I can't wait to see how it unfolds...

Author's Response: What, me write a tear jerker? Never! (LOL)
