I liked this story and wouldn't mind another one with the two of them in it. I'm going to look on Netflix and see if they have the first season of Sentinel. It sounds interesting.  I'll be waiting to see what you come up with next.

Author's Response:

Hi,

Glad you liked the crossover. The Sentinel is the last of the classic 'buddy-buddy/cop shows' shows on American TV. It ran from 1996-99 and is certainly worth watching if you find it on Netflix. I had no intention of doing a sequel crossover, but you never know. It'd be fun to have Dean revisit Washington, and maybe add Sam into the mix. Hmmmmm.....

Hi ladywolf,

Thanks for reading and reviewing. I sent you a note with some already-written TS/SPN xovers in it.

I love a cocky Dean, so, yes, I enjoyed the shooting gallery and I'm glad Dean won.  Enjoying the story, even though I'm not familiar with the crossover characters.  They kind of sound 'stuffy', which is a nice contrast to Dean.

Author's Response:

Hi,

Thanks so much for reading and reviewing my apple pie story. Jim's a police lieutenant in Cascade PD's Major Crimes Department, so he is kind of stuffy. Blair's a former grad student in anthropology who's life got turned upside-down when he met Jim. The Sentinel is a buddy-buddy cop show w/a mythological twist, quite a new idea in its time frame of 1996-99. You can search for The Sentinel tv show to get more info, first season is available on DVD, but only the first season. Finding a year that works for both fandoms was a bit of a challenge, but I like exploring what Dean was like in the Stanford years, and that's not too far removed from The Sentinel's aired eps.

I really enjoyed this chapter. Looks like Dean is using his two best skills here! Loved the gallery scene and am so glad Dean won so he can take Mandy out and treat her to a nice dinner (and him, too). Looking forward to reading the next chapter.

Author's Response:

Hi again,

Thanks for reading and reviewing the second part of my apple story. Shooting and eating are Dean's two best skills;-) and Dean's done enough hunting that his sharpshooter skills are top notch - even up against an ex-Army Ranger Sentinel. Next chapter will be up soon, probably tomorrow.

Can't blame a girl for taking advantage of Dean! Looking forward to where this story is going. Thanks for sharing your story here, it certainly has great promise.

Author's Response:

Thank you for reading and reviewing. I hope you like the next installment as the story takes a turn into 'slice of pie' territory.:-)
