It never occurred to me that Dean didn't know how to ride a bike. I'm glad you pointed that out. There are some things you just assume everyone has done.

The whole oart about Dean remembering to build forts and tell stories and sing songs because it was his job was so sweet and sad. So much for a child to know, to do. His perception of his father is so forgiving and non-judgemental.
In your stories John seems more fatherly. It's a nice change from the strictly military man he's usually portrayed as.

Wonderful! The feelings you express here are so clear and so innocent. It gave me hope that Sam and Dean could have a normal life for a few days. Just enough normal to keep tucked away for rainy days. I think Kerri is a lovely character.
