This was a really sweet story. I like the tone you set- and how it was not only an eye-opener for Sam on how his Dad had managed to care for him- but also how Dean had too. It was nice to see John humanized a bit... too often he's not... and I love the timing of this piece- with Jared going to be a dad and all. I can just imagine all the little nuances of seeing him with a baby for the first time.

 I havent had the chance to check out the art-work over on LJ- but thanks for taking the time to post the story here on UnGen. Nicely done and a refreshing change of pace!
