This story is fantastic- pretty damn near perfect! I love hurt!dean though mainly find it to be written in a way that Dean loses his snark and tenacity, but your writing delivers all of the above- and in abundance! I totally adore the dry wit of this piece, and I love how Dean's conducting a mini-hunt while Bobby thinks he's losing his crackers. Or maybe he really was losing his crackers the whole time! Haha, fantastic.
The only criticism I have of this story is that the summary does NOT do it justice. I almost didn't read it! Gosh am I glad I did! Great work =]

Splendid story. Never guessed it was a hobgoblin but it all made sense that Dean could see him and Bobby and Sam couldn't. So pleased that DEan got to do what he does best in the end - hunt that sucker down, outwit him and send him packing. And even better that Boby and Sam had no clue. Very satisfying tale, Thank you.

This looks like its shaping up to be VERY interesting.
There are so many parts that I truly love. From how Bobby just takes action to help Dean out in the ambulance- (pull down jeans and inject the morphine) to the little scene of Dean considering the distance to the bathroom and whether or not he could just whip out his dick and aim from the couch (SO VERY DEAN!)
You really captured what I believe would have transpired in those early moments at the cabin.
I can't wait to know see where this is headed- and I love that there's the similarity of Sam somewhat "mocking" the hallucinations.
Nice touch!
