As always Caroline... you wrapped this up so perfectly. I like that sam and Bobby didnt coddle Mike and Lou... that they didnt help them fix up the mess or didnt sugar coat what had happened - especially since what happened with Dean. I loved Sam's line - "Been there, possessed by that...." priceless!!! Poor Dean... waking up and completely at a loss... But I like his momentary panic - fearing a DEAL was made on his behalf. Poor guy KNOWS what that entails and no way is he going down that path or having someone do it for him... The drive at the end- and interaction/dialogue was just spot on as usual.... I'm glad you didnt have it too mushy and KUDOS to the tie in to Swap Meat... ( it was Swap Meat wasn't it??) That really made it play all together so nicely. Well, I'd say I'm sad to see this one end- and I am just a little- simply because you weave such wonderfully plotted tales... but----- I know whats coming. *grins excitedly* So I'm off... cause I see it posted. Ahhhh.... nice backstory, Caroline! Great way to tie it all together and let us have a glimpse of why these two have it in for each other. It reminded me a little of a SG-Atlantis episode; Cant remember the title- but these two ex-lovers were after each other possessing bodies across the galaxy- waging their little war... Oh and the crossroad demon- such a nice/subtle touch... loved that bit! And you gave me that wee-bit of failing Dean.. always gives me that tingle when I hear him struggling to hold on - fighting to survive.. Hurry up, Sammy. Please. I don't think I can hang on much longer…. *sighs contentedly!!! :)* As for the rest of the chapter- I mostly just wanted to cheer. I loved the pseudo-double cross.. although, not like I could blame Sam and Bobby... cant trust a demon and it wasnt like they had a DEAL... just an AGREEMENT- hahahaha... 'red tape- it'll get ya every time!' hahahaha! Truly, you've brought us through such a wonderfully crafted bit of story... once again, I'm just sad to see it all end... (except that in this case - I get a special treat! *rubs hands together in anticipation*) T

Fantastic chapter, who would have thought that a demon would help them save the day, so everything is good now, Yes? . Dean should recover and the cops now know he's innocent. The bad demons are gone. Case closed, is the end in sight? Looking forward to the next post, Thanks.

Well- you certainly kicked it! LOL!!! I loved that everyone ended back up at the big battle... all the players in one spot as it were. I wasnt expecting the cross/double cross and then triple cross - so to speak... And I'm usually good at figuring these things out beforehand... I kinda figured Denise was going to rescind her part of the spell in summoning Carin... but I wasn't sure how that was going to jack up the other demon's plans.. But it looks like Sam and Bobby have it all under control... so now I hope we just get to see some major demon ass-kicking. I dont have any problem with the demon "agreement"- I kinda thought that was some nice "red tape" as it were!!! And I'm not sure if you did this on purpose or not.. but I liked how Bobby insisted on a 'handshake" instead of the usual way demons tend to like to seal deals... hahahaha.. I was actually expecting more of the angelic variety of healing for Dean- so this is a pleasant surprise (nicely done there!) So- big fight scene still ahead??? I cant wait. Something tells me this isnt going to be as easy as it might seem! *waits im-patiently! - LOL* Tree

Holy crap!!!!! I didnt see that coming! Never expected you to send DemonLou back to nab Dean!!! Now what is he up to there!?!?!?!?! I gotta say- as much as I ate up that whole hospital bit- you really crafted the exchange between Mike and Sam very well. That played out like an episode in my head to the point I could see EVERY expression and mannerism in my head. I could just picture poor Mike's disbelief and confusion- yet at the same time- his struggle to want to get to the bottom of things even as Sam was trying to explain it all. Also loved the exchange with Mike about demon deals... stupid stupid stupid Mike!!! AS always, you did such a great job with everyone's voice- everyone sooo in character... And Sam still has a plan. I just wait till he finds out Dean's been taken! Something tells me he's not gonna be a happy camper! Hope you got some writing done.... I have NEEDS here! Tree

So Denise was dabbling with spellwork- just trying to make life better... *shakes head* some people should watch more tv and they'd learn this sort of thing never NEVER turns out well! Stupid girl... and of course- DemonCarin was just waiting to pounce! Oh well.. guess now its time for the boys - well, Sam at least to bail her butt out of the mess she's created. And now I'm really wanting to know what the new demon is up to. If I get this right- it looks as though he "might" not be liking CarinDemon's little plot much... course that just means that his ulterior motive is probably MUCH WORSE. S5 huh - makes me wonder if the demon in Lou might be???? Hmmmm..... Loved the hospital scene... Dean unconscious but still connecting with Sam via the handgrip... that was just made of awesome! Dean just hanging on... Nice mini-cliffie at the end. Looks like the gang is all there! I'd love nothing more for Sam just to use the colt and kill them all... any chance of that? LOL Okay- I wont beg for the next chapter... and btw... not a damn thing wrong with this one. So cut yourself some slack hun! Tree

So I'm not sure who was more relieved - me or Sam - with the news that Dean was showing signs of improvement. A bit miraculous- given the injuries- and I'm hoping you give us some juicy H/C coming up - but I'll try to contain my impatience on that one. (yeah right! LOL) The best part of this chapter was SuperSleuthSam... I love him when the lightbulb goes off... and it certainly did here... And I have to almost tip my hat to you for weaving such a wonderfully complex tale and group of characters - intertwined yet not to the point of unbelieveable. No holes- which I love to pick at... but extremely plausible insofar as the plot went and how now Lou and Denise were connected- and the irony of how Lou and really the whole police force ended up being brought into the picture beginning really with the early victim and her brother the cop and ultimately Dean's involvement from being mistakingly blamed but also making the connection that solves it. WELL DONE with the plot! (see - I AM about more than just the DeanWhump! hahahaha!) Of course- I also loved that Carin has just a tiny sense of desperation going on - the clock is ticking... Loved her line about being trapped in the meatsuit for a whole year... boo hoo! I'm kinda waiting now to see if Mike is going to be a help or a victim.. I sorta had some hope there at the beginning of the chapter- but your ending with Lou- not so much... poor Mike... I really liked the little touch of CSI in the early part of the chapter and Heidi's sarcastic reply... So- now how is Sam going to stop this? He knows all the players... he knows where everyone pretty much is... and he has Denise... I think he's got all the pieces- can't CollegeBoy finish putting all the puzzle together and send that demon packing. Doesnt he need to be by his brother's side or something???? LOL Next chapter - please????? Tree

I worry so that I have plot holes (caverns) or things that I forget, considering I write at work while I am talking to customers, I'm surprised there is not a massive amount of errors. Sometimes it hits me: "Oh no, I forgot such and such..better add them in here" I did that last story with the dog! Anyway, I better post another chapter, your begging...well...I love it so!

Okay- dont know what the errors were on the last chapter- but I sure didnt notice. Guess I was too pissed at the two cops - LMAO. Which by the way... glad to see that the DA and Chief are now having a bit of a pow wow and sweating their asses off- I loved the lines... Lou stood and stretched. "I'm thinking you might need a bullet proof vest for that one" Mike gave a little laugh. "And a boxing helmet... I think they might need a small army to protect them when Sam comes calling.... LOL By contrast- I thought your Bobby-Sam scene at the hospital was SOOOO perfect and right on the money. I had visions of S2 and S4 Sam- sitting vigil beside a gravely injured Dean's beside --- and Bobby knowing he had to get the younger man to focus. The whole "Are you with me???" Just soooo Bobby! NICE! I love that Carin was back on her game- not to be deterred. "Hunters? Shit a brick. I have to take care of them or they're going to ruin everything!" Such the demon! I love that line!!!!! And I'm wondering if I missed something with Denise? How does she figure in? What did Dean figure out? Did you give us a clue somewhere that I missed??? Tempted to go back and reread... Ah- and my poor Dean... you tore that boy UP!!!! I would make some comments about the injuries- but hell... I basically just ate it all up! LOL I will admit- I'm curious how you're gonna fix him- but then- I'm remembering this is S5- so I'm sitting here smirking just a tad and wondering if there will be a timely appearance by a certain angel??? *wags eyebrows* So- now Carin is replenishing her stock? Moving on to the football team and cheerleaders??? Well, that's gonna get noticed... I'm thinking graduation ceremonies in this town are going to be kinda slim at this rate! Get off your knees and quit begging! LOL... Okay- where shall I start? I had thought I'd go off with a violent diatribe about how much I want Sam to beat the snot out of Crowney and Hobsen... but now- I really want Bobby to place an anonymous call to tip the police about a B&E at the garage and when those two get there... Carin SLOWLY disembowels both of them and feeds each other their intestines while they're still alive!!!! But hey... I'm not bitter in the least about them beating Dean nearly to death!!! Nope- not at all! :) As for the rest of the chapter... I love the way you just flash from one scene to the next- first the coroner (which by the way- I was waiting to see how you managed to keep the cops from going to him and finding out about Sam - nice job of killing him off! Hahahaha!) to the dad in the diner... smacked in the face with the demon-black-smoke... just these quick glances of action like they'd do in the show where we see OC's getting slaughtered but it adds to the central action! Nice touch! Not boring but MUCH needed. Oh and how I just hate Carin... for a female demon- she's just got this edge and demonic snideness that makes her despicable. Her interaction first with the boys and now with Bobby... I can't wait till she goes down! I do have some glimmer of hope now. Granted, Sam is off to the hopsital to Dean... but he knows where she is and what she's up to. Although I'm kinda wondering who the new Dad!demon is... he sounded kinda bossy when he snapped at the Carin!Demon about talking to Sam. Okay- gimmegimmegimme the hospitalDean chapter...
