Ha, it can't get sappy enough for me! Great ending to yet another great fic! I'll keep checking the site for hopefully more new fics from you!
Author's Response: I'm so sorry it took me so long to respond...RL got in the way! Thank you so much for all your reviews, and I'm glad you enjoyed!

Great idea to write this story from both boys POV..their feelings for each other and their lives with the other as part of it. Really interesting way to do it..and I enjoyed it. Look forward to your next!! Take care, Jane
Author's Response: Sorry I'm so late in responding, but thank you so much for your reviews and I'm glad you enjoyed it! Nancy

Gosh, I just love a worried Sam who's hovering around his wounded brother! So sweet that he wouldn't let go of Dean's hand. It can't get sappy enough for me, so I hope the next chapter brings some chick-flick scenes!
Author's Response: Thanks for all your wonderful reviews, and I hope you like the end (sort of sappy? Winchester style, any way...)

Hate to break it to ya, Dean, but Sam's not on top of the mountain any more.... Did you squish Deany-babe, Nancy? Hurt, pain, can't breathe? Did you turn him into a Winchester pancake? Without the fresh fruit and syrup? Oh, dear..... Jules
Author's Response: Of course I squished Deany! It's what I do! Hope you like the rest of this...

Whoa, thank heavens he found Dean, because I was beginning to think he might be a pancake.... Sam's panic when he saw the hand was very well painted - I could almost feel his heart pounding with the adrenaline and fear as he dropped to his knees with that frantic prayer rocketing through his head. Let's hope that Dean's not too far under that rock... Jules

Not meant as a critical comment about your story in any way, but I've read a lot of fics that have touched on Dean's claustrophobia, and I just wondered - is it 'canon', or 'fanon'? The flashback was sweet - and so typical of ever-inquisitive Sammy going off on his own and getting into a bit of strife. And I'm very curious about that stray moonbeam.... Jules
Author's Response: Hmmm...I personally think it's *mostly* fanon, though I think at least part of the fear of flying is claustrophobia (together with fear of loss of control.) And Dean certainly panicked when he woke up in that pine box...which is completely understandable. (Although scrabbling at the wood *directly over your face* with bare hands did seem a tad...out of control. Kicking might have worked better, and not dropped the dirt in his eyes.) Feel free to be critical all you want, Jules! It all helps make the stories better...

A well deserved nominations. I have loved this story..can't wait to read your final chapter/chapters. Soon, I hope? So glad help has finally arrived. Take care, Jane
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I decided to revise the ending slightly, so it'll be just a little longer than I'd intended, but hopefully will be up soon. I'm so glad you're enjoying this! Nancy

OMG, what an awesome chapter, I've re-read it so many times already, it's just brilliant. I so hope you manage to squeeze out two more chapters instead of just one. I can't miss this story just yet!
Congratulations on your nomination, it's well deserved!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm absolutely thrilled by the nomination and by your wonderful review!

Fantastic update, thank goodness help has arrived. Have they arrived in time to save Dean and what did Sam mean, " Do whatever it took to get the job done. Because Dean couldn’t do it any more, and it was up to me. " Does Sam still think he's better and stronger than Dean, just like he said under the siren's influence?? Looking forward to more. Thanks.
Author's Response: That's more or less where Sam was at during season 4, though not necessarily in the way it came out under the siren's influence. I think he truly did believe it, but more sad than condescending, honestly wanting to help. Of course, Dean wouldn't take it that way... Thanks for your wonderful reviews!

What a hard decision....his brother or two little kids, helpless and scared. I can well imagine what that decision has cost Sam. Hope the Rawhead is minced beef by now. Jules
Author's Response: Thanks for all your comments and reviews, Jules! I'm glad you're enjoying this, and hope you'll hang in... Nancy

You squished Dean! Thank heavens he got at least two of the kids out, though I don't hold out much hope for poor little Joey... But ohh, the monster had the last laugh by bringing the wall down with its death throes. I'm betting Sam will come down, though. Hopefully he'll actually find his brother and he won't be a pancake... Jules
Author's Response: Oh, I've wanted to squish Dean for a long time! (in a different way, of course...) Nancy

They're still so disconnected, despite the way Sam caved and let himself get looked after by his big brother after his little slide down the rocks. I'm still thinking that this isn't going to end well....especially now that a Rawhead is involved, and Dean doesn't give a rat's how he will come out of it. Not good....*chews nails worriedly* Jules

Off-balance, a sleepless night and nightmares to boot - that's really not a good way to go into a hunt. This is going to go tits-up in a very big way, isn't it? Jules
Author's Response: Oh, I love that phrase...not something we commonly hear around here. Thanks for the smile!

Jeez, you sure put both Winchesters through the wringer in this fic with Dean being hurt so bad and so much angst for Sam. I just love it!
Author's Response: I know, I'm evil for enjoying torturing the boys so much <g>...but at least I know I'm not the only one. Thanks for all your reviews!

Great update, So the boys are still trapped, and Dean seems in a bad way, what's new. Have the kids managed to get to help, told them where to look for Sam and Dean? Looking forward to the next post. Thanks..
Author's Response: Sometimes I feel bad at the horrible things I do to poor Dean, but not enough to stop <g>. Glad you're enjoying this! Nancy

Oh dear, you really made my day for I love hurt Dean and caring Sammy. Hope to get more soon!
Author's Response: I'm a sucker for hurt Dean myself (and it wouldn't be the same without worried Sam, would it?) Thanks for your review!

Ohhh, what a way to end this chapter, you're evil! This chapter was so unbelievably tense, I really was on the edge of my seat while reading. Great, great job!! I hope the next chapter is Sam's POV again, I just love anxious little brothers, LOL!
Author's Response: Sorry about that! <g> I'll post the next chapter right away, so you can move to the back of the seat. One more Dean POV, then back to Sam. Personally, I love hurt big brother more than anxious little brother, but they go so well together. Thanks for all your reviews!

What a tense chapter! I'm glad it seems that Sam has found Dean, I'm not sure how long Dean will last. Look forward to the real rescue!

Oh, what a lovely flashback, it got me all teary-eyed! Great job!

Poor Sam, having to leave Dean behind to get the kids to a relative safe place and then he has to leave the kids behind to help Dean.
Reviewer: zuimar (Signed) · Date: 04/09/11 01:35 PM · On: Chapter 3
Sorry about being behind with my reviews! Awesome chapter, so much angst! It's so typical for Dean to put victims first no matter what, even when his own life is at stake. It'll be up to Sam now to get his brother out.
