I am in love with this fic! Schmoopy, hell yeah!
I loved everything - the story structure of three minutes past midnight triggering each memory was clever, hypnotic. The topic of each memory centred around Dean watching out for Sammy, each one emphasising a special need for Sam, just divine. The birthday scene was awesome because of Dean's excitement and Sammy's graciousness. The scene at the creek was gorgeous because you wrote Dean to show intuitive, sensitive side when Sam was so low. Your words - "He wished he wasn't sixteen and taller...because all he wanted to do right now was cry into his brother's chest' - stole my breath, brilliant writing!
Your funny moment was a crack-up - "if he didn't he's hear his name as a lost child over the loud speakers, not like THAT had never happened before" - too funny, yeah we know Dean would do it again!!
Your ending was so cute, Sam surprising Dean, at three minutes past twelve, and Dean's little 'thank you' ackowledging the gesture *sigh*
This little ficlet is the epitomy of the Winchester brothers connection - a shared history and a deep understanding of each other. Thanks heaps for this. New term?schmoop!dean, schmoop!sam ?? works for me!!!

Awww, Laura.....
That was so sweet and I totally agree with the sentiment. Yes, Sam never had a typical father; he didn't have the father that was alaways there for him. He had Dean and that was always enough for him. It was so nice to see Sam being grateful for what Dean did for him by giving him the endless supply of Peanut M&Ms.

It's schmoopy, but it's GORGEOUS!!!!! Awwww, it's Fathers Day where you are, right? It's not where I am, but that didn't lessen the effect one little bit. I adored all of the flashbacks, but especially the computer one ...... no, the lame date one... forget it, I loved them all. Have to say though, that this story had a rather distressing effect on my sookiness levels - and I'm holding you entirely responsible! Many thanks.
