*SQUEES* I love you so much, Laura! This has been the absolute best birthday present anyone has given me and every single chapter has been like another gift! I love you how wrapped everything up. I love how Dean was laying by his brother near the fire, his arm laying protectively over him. I love how Bobby had Sam go out for a walk and wouldn't let Dean go after him. I love the heart to heart talk the brothers had the end...*happy sigh* You did such an incredible job with this and I am so proud to call it my own! Again thank you so much for the most wonderful gift ever!

A very satisfying end to a fantastic story. Both of the boys are healing, trying to balance their need to watch out/protect each other and the need to let the other have space to become naturally independent again. Spending some casual down-time, enjoying "normal". What a horrific ordeal they survived in this tale. It's a wonder they are in one piece. The part about the doorknob made me chuckle. Dean does like to kick doors in. It's always nice to get a glimpse of the real Dean, not the hunter, brother, or smart alec. You gave me a lovely glimpse into his soul. Wow! Amazing chapter!

OK...this was beyond AMAZING.I have been waiting to see how you would bring this to a close. I hated those brothers and what they did to Sam and Dean -I wanted then to pay and pay. You ended it beautifully-more compasion than I would have had for them. Best of all, again we readers were honored to feel the brotherly connection, the love Sam and Dean have for one another. Once again you have hit the ball right out of the park. You write such amazing stories, making the boys we know and love come alive on the page. fabulous end to a great ride. Thanks for taking the time to really tie this up. So often authors just pay lip service to the ending - one of the reasons there are so many tags to the episodes! This was a lovely chapter - you do an awesome job with the boys - Dean will always have a hard time letting Sam go, and it was nice to see Sam start to see why. Thanks for another great story! I'll be looking for the next one.....

Whoa! Was that a helluva chapter. My heart was in my throat while seeing the fire, Dean and Bobby trying to save Sam, the heroic rescue, the emotions of both brothers clinging to one another - whew! Our poor boys. Then you throw them into a battle with the ghosts/demon in the house with flying debris. Can't get over all the fabulous action in this chapter. Great job. Let's hope this ritual works and frees them from this horror. Looking forward to the update...

Wow - just an awesome chapter - but again with the evil cliffie.... I'm not convinced yet that this is the end though... Loved the description of Dean carrying Sam out of the fire - and Bobby wondering if Dean knew what a doorknob was..... So - no pressure or anything... but please post soon...

Like how you wrote the fire scene with Bobby dragging Dean down and making a plan, Dean rescuing Sam, and Dean's legs giving out when he stood up was a good touch too. I'm glad you decided not to have the boys hurt in the fire-- it played out well.
