I was going to wash clothes but say this story and decided I'd read a couple chapters. That was an hour or two ago. Really liked the way you described things. Keep up the great work.

Author's Response: Hi! Sorry for the delay in replying, I don't seem to get alerts...but thank you, thank you, for your kind words.  This was my first story and I thought rather clumsy, but I really appreciate your feedback!  Let me know what you think of the ending, and if you read the sequel (Harvester of Sorrow)

No wonder you advised me to read this before Harvester of sorrow.  Angie is a dynamite character!  Very sympathetic, yet enigmatic.

I'm curious to see if Sam or Dean are able to escape the thrall they have for her.  I'm also curious as to what would happen if either one were intimate with her.  If her blood enthralls men then making love to her would have to do something.  And what kind of offspring would mating with a human produce?  What kind of unusual pregnancy would she have?  Okay, I'm getting way into the hypothetical.  Just write more Angie stories--- keep 'em comin'!

Author's Response: Oh thank you so much! I'll be interested to see if you think the same way after reading Harvester....

So Angie has a twin?  Brother or mate?  Is he the one moving the journal around?  Is he on Angie's side or not?  Does she know about him?  When will you write the story that explains all this?  There has to be another Angie story!

Author's Response: The next story will explain more....

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 06/03/12 08:48 PM · On: Chapter 15

Oh!  she just disappeared?  Love how you describe her--- smelling like candy, tasting like summer.  Those poor Winchester boys all frisky with no happy endings.

Interesting photo of Angie.  Will you ever tell us what some of the other men's experiences are with her?  What did they call her?

Author's Response: Maybe..... can't say...might spoil things!!

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 06/03/12 07:17 AM · On: Chapter 14

Angie is such a fabulous creature!  I love the way she interacts with each of the four men (well, three men and one angel).  She seems to understand them on a level that reaches straight to their hearts.

This was an incredible chapter!  I loved how the boys helped her install her controls and how they all felt a measure of pain and sorrow.

Glad there's more than one chapter!

I'm curious how long Dean will be enthralled with Angie.  I know it lasts at least through Harvester of sorrow but how long after this story does that one take place?

Author's Response: You will have to wait and see! I'm tossing up writing another Angie story. Let me know your thoughts on that after you read Harvester.....

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 06/03/12 07:05 AM · On: Chapter 13

Wow!  What a magnificent exit for Angie!  You wrote it beautifully.  I especially liked her satisfaction at meeting John's sons and having them now be part of her no matter where any of them went or what they experienced.

'I feel you have an inflated view of your worth.'  Oh yeah!

"She is, I guess, like me.  she has come here as a rebellion against what she is."  Cas has a way of saying strange things but being totally accurate.  funny how a being who feels detached and in question of the human race can be so astute of humanity.  You 've captured that wonderfully!

The panic room!  Cool!  But will she be able to go into it?  So far none of the normal deterrents have worked (except for the holy oil fire) but you never know what might kick in.

Only one more chapter---- aw.  Sadness.

Author's Response: I like to make Cas realise that everything isn't alway s black and white. Dean has learned this, for the most part, along the way, Cas has a whole new learning curve.
Angie is someting big...he just doesn't know how big...

"He strode unto death for me. I will not let death take him now."  That gave me goosebumps. The blood that binds him to someone else is that Azazel?  Can she sense the demon blood in Sam?  Way cool!  'Maybe a young man, something in black...'   I hadn't thought of demons choosing people like we choose our clothes in the morning.  Clever!

Author's Response: Thank you! I get excited to see a review from you, thank you for understanding what I was trying to portray

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 05/03/12 04:24 PM · On: Chapter 11

Very cool!  Finally we get a little background about who and what Angie is.  Are the others like her the failed experiments or are they the ones who created her?

Great ending!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for reading and reviewing, I can't tell you how much this has meant to me! Now I guess you'll have a better understanding of Harvester of Sorrow!

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 05/03/12 04:16 PM · On: Chapter 10

She smells like candy?!  Oh my hell- hilarious!  Good thing I was alone because I belly-laughed at that one.  does she smell like different things to different people?

Speaking of people... she isn't an abomination because there's a whole city of her somewhere that isn't here.  Oh Yoda, I'm getting a headache from the cryptic.  Or is it Dr. Seuss who gave her speech lessons.  Anyway, cool!

You've made Angie quite an enigma.  She's smart yet naive, powerful yet guileless, distant yet caring, conscious of herself yet unconscious of the natural affect she has on people.  A brilliant character.  With every chapter I find myself more curious and impressed.

Author's Response: Oh, thank you so much! Angie is actually a bastardaisation of an original character of mine that I am (trying) to write a book about...

"And there is that whole saving our asses thing," Dean added.  "That goes a long way toward not evil in our eyes."  Another one of Dean's perfect understated statements of the obvious.

'Weird creepy hot girl was getting weirder by the minute.'  I was surprised, too, when she started smoking.  It just seems like an imperfect human thing to do and she hasn't shown any careless qualities so far.  Now I understand it's just for medicinal purposes.  Hmmmm... I wonder who could drink more- Angie or Dean?  And does it affect her the way it does humans or does she have to drink an entire liquor store to get her buzz on?

Author's Response: Angie, she could out drink Cas! Maybe I should put that in my next story....

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 05/03/12 03:41 PM · On: Chapter 8

So the angels tried something even worse than the demons to get Angie?  Why are they the good guys again?

'Yeah man, it's the new monster way to earn a living.  Being an abomination and vampire slaying doesn 't pay.'  Dean's rockin' the sarcasm.  Damn don't ya just love that about him?

'Catch up, Einstein," he gruffed.'  bobby's just an adorable curmudgeonly teddy bear.  Kind of a view of Dean in the future if he were to ever settle down.

'Suddenly the wind stopped, and all light extinguished, just as Angie's head snapped up, eyes flashing in the dark.  "And NOW" she demanded, and the hunters disappeared, that angel winking out an instant later.'  Impressive!  It gave me the chills!

This was an amazing chapter!

Author's Response: Thank you, thank you so much. I love that you along for the ride, and get where I'm coming from...

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 05/03/12 02:46 AM · On: Chapter 7

Curiouser and curiouser.  You're leading me further down the rabbit hole.  So far all we know is that Angie chooses to be good and what she isn't but nothing about what she is or why she's there.  Where's my crystal ball?

Author's Response: Hey, at this stage even I didn't know where this was going!

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 05/03/12 02:36 AM · On: Chapter 6

Interesting but we still don't know what Angela is or why the demons need Cas.  Good to know that the obsession wore off and John was back to normal.

Author's Response: Oh, spoiler! John never really got over Angie... not completely.....

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 04/03/12 06:09 PM · On: Chapter 5

Cool!  So her blood has the power to make people connect to her?  and if just one drop does that what would a splatter or a trickle of it do?  Hopefully, no one will have to apply a pressure bandage.

I'm off to the next chapter.

Author's Response:

It's always in the blood, isn't it?  In the Bible, in lore, in folk tales, and in our favorite show, it's always in the blood.

Blood is life.

Blood is death, sometimes, too....

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 04/03/12 06:00 PM · On: Chapter 4

Yeah, I'd like to know how they got Cas too and why they need him.  How does he play into getting the vamgel?

Oh good!  a story from Bobby.  I'm pulling up a chair now.

Author's Response: I so miss Bobby! I may have to write him into another story, I think...

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 04/03/12 05:54 PM · On: Chapter 3

Ahhh... Kim Manners.  Don't you miss him?

So now demons have entered the picture?  Wow!  Angels, demons, vampires... what next? I know, read and find out.

Author's Response: Vampires?  Well....I guess you'll have to see...

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 04/03/12 05:48 PM · On: Chapter 1

Forty four is definitely NOT old, I agree whole-heartedly.

Ew!  Eating the baby from the woman's stomach.  But I still liked this chapter.

Author's Response:

Yeah, maybe I took the shock value a bit far?

Fourty four is not old...I remember it well....

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 04/03/12 05:38 PM · On: Chapter 2

I stopped reading the other story because you said this one comes first.  I already know the vamp/angel's name is Angie and she's quite an intriguing character.  I can't wait to find out the deal with her.  You've hooked me with another one!

Author's Response: Thank you! I hope you enjoy this, just remember, though, it's my first ever story I wrote for Supernatural, and my first foray back into writing after nearly 30 years!

Reviewer: mizpah (Signed) · Date: 28/02/12 05:37 AM · On: Epilogue

So even Angie isn't aware of the identity of her rescuer, eh? Interesting.

But he's been looking out for her for centuries, obviously. Why has he chosen to keep hidden from her? Surely they could combine and help each other, since he's obviously just like she is.

Isn't he?

I'm going to crawl off to beddy-bye now, and take up this mind-twisting tale in the sequel. Tomorrow....*yawns*

Have to know more....have to find out more....

Jules

Author's Response:

Thank you so much, you have made my whole month, not just my day.  I hope ypou like the sequel, it's my story with least reads and reviews...but the fact that it is restricted may be the reason...I hope...

I am tossing up on starting another Angie story, also filling in a bit on John's involvement with her... What do you think?

Reviewer: mizpah (Signed) · Date: 28/02/12 05:34 AM · On: Chapter 16

OMG - there's another one just like Angie! Did they make more of them, or was all that backstory just a red herring devised to scare angels and demons alike, and she was actually born of a race of creatures just like her, not put together like heaven's version of Frankenstein's monster?

Hmm....too many questions. And I've got to go to bed soon - my eyeballs are hanging out. But I have to finish.

Did love poor Bobby with a lapfup of angel - ROFL! And I'm glad Dean restrained himself from commenting - Bobby might have been tempted to run over his foot a few times in revenge.

And now she's gone again, after giving the boys more questions than answers - again. Enigmatic doesn't even begin to cover her.

Sheesh! *flaps arms* Wonder if there's some sort of supernatural truth serum they can splash her with...

Jules

Author's Response:

Isn't it better to leave you wanting more?  Maybe?

You will have to read the sequel...but not tonight...

It's late...

Reviewer: mizpah (Signed) · Date: 28/02/12 05:23 AM · On: Chapter 15

Hot dreams, boys....

Well, the two creepy matrix dudes mustn't have grabbed her. Wonder if she was feigning sleep when Sam checked on her, considering the near-wet-dreams the boys were having in unison. And surely there's got to be a smart comment from Dean there sometime soon about a threesome...

I wonder, too, whether her influence in the boys' blood will wane over time, or if it will stay strong, flaring to full power in her proximity.

Intriguing....

Jules

Author's Response:

I can't answer those questions without spoiling things.  I do thik I have you hooked, just a little...

I'm glad I made an OC that was not hated...

Reviewer: mizpah (Signed) · Date: 28/02/12 05:15 AM · On: Chapter 14

I just have to say....it is nearly impossible to get some quiet reading done when my brainless bimbo of a cat is trying to curl up on my laptop to have a snooze....*sigh*...she's such a monster...and she's not exactly tiny, either...

Right, wrestling match over, and I managed to sroll back to where I was reading when she put her thick head down on the computer keys....

OUCH! That was harrowing for Angie, having those things burrow their way into her body like that. No wonder she finally passed out.

But I have to say - I chortled merrily away when the boys came to a slamming halt in the panic room - and the Superman undies - and Cas asking whether Dean's sudden mad dash was caused by said undies, and that he didn't understand...*chortle, snort*... Let's just say I'm glad I didn't have a mouthful of anything when I read that, because the laptop screen would have copped it! And so would Dolly, come to think of it....but then again, she might have shifted her head off my laptop.... always a silver lining....

Loved the image of Cas standing guard. And Bobby's right - she never really answers their questions, does she? Bet that journal is making for some interesting reading.

Jules

Author's Response: I think we are on the computer at the same time...wow.  I love the superman undies.  I think it's something Dean would find cute..

Reviewer: mizpah (Signed) · Date: 28/02/12 05:04 AM · On: Chapter 13

Ewwww, they're going to shove the rods back in....*holds hands over eyes* I can't look....I'm squeamish....

So - she is bound to the boys, but instead of them being enslaved to her will, she will now feel their emotions through the connection. I find that sweetly touching, that she would care so much about two 'measly' little humans, whose lives are mere fleeting seconds in time compared to hers.

Loved the Star Wars reference, too! Ah, you've won me over - Star Trek and Star Wars in one fic.

And I loved the awakening victims asking her if she was an angel. She must have appeared exactly that, standing in the rising sun with her wings unfurled and that unearthly beauty of hers on full display. And of course, she'd just deep-fried a high-end demon.

I'm glad Cas relented and realised that she isn't evil. But I hope she can stay one step ahead of her pursuers...and that the boys can, too.

Jules

Author's Response: I love your reviews, I love that someone who must be as geeky as me is reading, and gets allthe references, and even sees what I see.... I love that...

Reviewer: mizpah (Signed) · Date: 28/02/12 04:55 AM · On: Chapter 12

Interesting....

I wonder whether Angie was talking about Sam's demon blood there towards the end, when she said he'd been bound to something else. Can't remember what season this is set in...was it four or five? My poor old-lady brain can't access the information - lol.

And so Bayemon is shopping for a new prom dress. Bet he's going to get one hell of a shock when he tracks down Angie to find she's all bright and shiny again - looking forward to that scene, I can tell you.

Especially after the sod brought the motel down on top of the boys. Payback's a bitch, as Dean would say.

But I wonder whether Angie's creators will be alerted to the fact that she's had a little surge of power after the removal of those silver rods - which was  gross, by the way - lol. But I did have to smile at Sam copping a feel of her back - *snigger*

Jules

Author's Response: Season five.  Angie, she don't like Bayemon...but she would have just disapeared if it weren't for the hunters.  She's kinda fond of them, maybe...

Reviewer: mizpah (Signed) · Date: 28/02/12 04:45 AM · On: Chapter 11

I'm back!

And oh....what have you done...?? The motel fell on them! And Dean's all squished! And Cas and Bobby have been tossed outside like a sack of spuds!

And Angie - well, well, well. She was a creature formed from other beasts, eh? And she is an immortal. Interesting that the big bad keeps calling her his white angel....Is that where she got the name Angie? Angel - Angela - Angie...

What is going to happen next? I hope she finishes that durry soon, and gets her silver-banded self into gear...

Jules

Author's Response: That is indeed where she got the name from!  Funny, ten thousand reads and you are the first one to make that connection... or at least, the first one to say something...
