So sorry to hear about your loss. I'm sure your mom is with you everyday though.
I love this one shot. I could easily see this happening. I'm sure they would have had someone watching over Dean if he was the vessel for Michael all along. It gives one pause to go back and think about all the close calls Dean had but managed to squeak by. Thanks for sharing your story here!

How sweet! I like to think that angels had been watching over the wee Winchesters, and not with scheming in mind like Zachariah, but with true caring, as Cas showed in your story. Nice job!!

Author's Response: Thanks Terri! I got the idea of Cas being their guardian angel and it wouldn't let me go. It just makes sense that Heaven would watch over their vessel but of course, wee Dean would melt Castiel's angel heart even easier than adult Dean did. :)

This is such a sweet story. It just touched my heart thinking of Dean as a little boy trying to take care of his baby brother.

Thank you so much. I wish we could see a more of the Weechesters on the show. I imagine those boys had a rough little childhood but they always had each other.
