Wow, that was pretty powerful. I could easily see Sam thinking that as Lucifer pummeled poor Dean!

I've often dwelt on that scene wondering if Sam was aware of what he was doing to Dean.

it was a brutal beating that 'Sam' metered out in that episode. I hated to see Dean so damaged but the only thing he could do was be there for the real Sam trapped inside his own body. Nicely written Dizzo.
