Well of course Hannibal was there in the paddock, of course he'd go for help. Good horsie! I loved the story Dizzo. I started it at work in lunchtime and then finished it at home over dinner as I wanted to see the end. You captured them so well and I loved the pictures you painted with your words. Thansk for sharing. :) Bev xx
Author's Response: So glad you enjoyed it, and thank you for taking the time to review each chapter, that was such a lovely surprise. Appreciate your support, Bev x

I walk with a stick so Sam's clattering crutches are so resonant for me. You have so many nice details in the story, it makes it rounded and alive for me. Makes the boys come to life. Bev x
Author's Response: I can just picture Sam being hopelessly clumsy, all the very tall people I know are, and I thought the crutches would be a little giggle, although like your stick, probably very annoying too!

"You put the lime in the coconut...lalala" I love fuzzy, vulnerable Dean, he's a hoot. Bev xx
Author's Response: Heehee, so glad you're enjoying soppy, groggy Dean being dippier than usual :)

O bless him, he's adorable! Off to locate a coconut... bev x
Author's Response: Everyone loves Dean's coconut; it's attained legendary status - I'm thinking of giving it it's own story!

Awh poor Sammy, held it together for just long enough. Gald they're down form the mountain. bev x
Author's Response: Yep, I decided I had to move things along a bit :)

Champion...no Indiana-the wonder horse! God I used to love that proframme (you'll be too young to remember, Dizzo but it was cool!) Bev x
Author's Response: Uh, yes, Champion was just a tad before my time (I've seen the reruns though!)

Ah Dr Dizzo to the rescue! The hollow case of a cheap Bic biro works well either to decompress a lung, or so I'm told. Bev x
Author's Response: The darning needle was as close as I could get with my very limited medical knowledge - never thought about anything as exotic as a Bic!!!

Right, hang on I'll pop up to A&E and get a protable gas cylinder...Ooo this is exciting, I wanna go camping with the boys! Bev x
Author's Response: There would certainly never be a dull moment! :)

Oh no, I was just bonding nicely with Hannibal and you go kill him! I imagined him a little like a rounded Thellwell pony with Dean perched hesitantly astride. Oh and a shoulder injury...you sweet girl, it's my favorite! Reading on bev x
Author's Response: That's me, twisted beyond redemption! You and I were thinking along the same lines - I saw Hannibal as a great big fat Thellwellian thing with a huge bushy mane and tail. Happy to oblige with the shoulder injury btw. x

Dizzo. Get me a small donkey and I'll ride along and be 'boot' boy! Bev x
Author's Response: Absolutely, one donkey coming right up! :)

Hey Dizzo Awh that's just a purdy sight, I knew Dean was bow-leggged for a reason! Bev x
Author's Response: heehee, cowboy legs without a doubt x

I loved the story... not only was it Dean on horseback- something that seems to only play out in my head... but also hurtDean and OMG- post-anesthetic loopey Dean... now that was hilarious!!! I was kinda sad about Hannibal- but I have to admit that Dean's little comment about him 'finding a pretty little mare in horsey heaven"- that just tickled me... so Dean- so appropriate. Thanks for such a great read! I really enjoyed it! Tree
Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed this - I was sad about Hannibal too, but I had to find a reason for the boys to get schmoopy and soppy, and so Hannibal had to bite the dust *snif* x
