Wow, what a nail biting chapter! I absolutely love the AU twist you put here! It fits so well with the story you are weaving. Dean's flashback was quite chilling. Wonder what in the hell did ole YED say to Dean in the store? Something about Sam, no doubt? I am glad that John is sending his boys to Bobby's place because they are truly in danger here. I can't wait to read the next installment!

Yeah!  Another chapter, and I was just thinking yesterday about this story and how I missed it! John is right to blame himself with what Dean had to do to survive.  Those guys didn't stand a chance with a revenge filled John! And thanks for the reminder that Dean is only 17 in this story, because John is right, no matter what Dean was doing, it was cowardly for those yahoos to gang up and beat up someone of that age. Sam is still dreaming of better things looks like. I'm really looking forward to the next chapter. I hope everything is going better for you now.

Great chapter.  I've been waiting for this one, since you left the last one with such a good cliffie -- John friggin' Winchester.  This was a good resolution.  Now I only have to find out what great idea John has.

Man oh man, I did not see this happening! John is testing Dean and I wonder if he'll pass. He just doesn't trust Dean right now and if Dean finds out it will literally crush him. I cringed when Sam mentioned the bodily fluids thing. Yikes, he doesn't know how close to hitting home he got. I'm really looking forward to the next part!

I think John would be more pissed if he knew Dean was close by. Good thing that they were there though. Poor Sam, seeing the monster turn back to the woman. Perhaps he will get a better understanding of what Dean, John, and Bobby do. Thanks for another great chapter! Looking forward to the next chapter.

I don't think I've commented before, but I am enjoying this story.  Had begun to think you weren't going to finish it.  Wasn't too sure about the content at first, but it is handled tastefully.  Good characterization throughout.

I absolutely loved this chapter. I'm glad Bobby discovered Dean's secret. Dean needs all the support he can get so he never reverts to that activity again. I'm also glad that Bobby is mad at John and not Dean. Dean would have never been in that position if John had taken better care of his boys. Dean does have really good instincts and Bobby is so right in believing in Dean. They need to get to John and Sammy before something terrible happens to them. Looking forward to reading the next chapter.

I like how this is coming together. Nice that Sam's starting to realize how much he's missing Dean, and that he didn't mean to stay away for ten days. I also like the threat of the storm that you've put in the last few chapters, keep expecting the YED to make an appearance, somehow. The last bit with Dean going to Flagstaff makes perfect Dean-sense.

Well, I didn't like what Dean had to do in the first chapter to get the rent and food money, but I've gotta see how Dean gets Sam back. John was pretty harsh with Dean in this, but that's following canon, plus he's worried about Sam. I was a little surprised that Dean didn't hotwire the Impala; just because he didn't want to get the keys from the kitchen didn't mean he couldn't find a way to drive her. He'd make faster time looking by car, but then he might've missed getting the information from the trucker. It's obvious you've put a lot of thought into the plot here, giving Sam a reason to fight with Dean, and need to prove his independence by leaving.

I absolutely loved Dean's reaction when he finally caught up to Sam! Perfect! This is really realistic because Dean would be angry and relieved all at once. I love how they were being brothers here at the end of the chapter. I could easily picture it. I'm worried that John will be harder on Dean than Sam once he gets off the bus. Having the YED at the bus station was creepy, too. Sam will probably have forgotten it once he's with both John and Dean. I'm really looking forward to the next chapter.

I can't believe you haven't gotten more reviews because this story is so riveting! You really have John, Dean, and Sam down like how I see them. 

I'm glad John handled Dean with almost kid gloves because anything else and Dean would have shut down or taken off. Loved how Dean turned the tables on John! It's good that Dean finally came clean with the whole sordid mess and promises never to do that "activity" again because eventually something terrible would have happened to Dean. He's really lucky that he hasn't been raped or worse. John really needs to make Dean see that he is worthy of his family's love and respect. To be so young and to have so little self worth.

I'm really looking forward to the next chapter!

I just wanted to cry during the John's parts mostly. His thoughts of Dean and what he'd been probably doing to take care of Sam was just so heartbreaking. I too wonder how John is going to broach the subject to Dean? Talk about awkward! Poor Dean, I'm worried about his health now, looks like he is nearing his endurance. Sam is still being way to stubborn and he just won't give up being "free". I hope John finds Dean soon and then they both can be on the lookout for Sam together. Can't wait to read the next chapter!
