Good fun!! I like that Dean would fail.....but only because he's on Team Winchester, rather than Team Dean:)  Perfect smiling!Sam picture on your banner!

Author's Response:

Yay! I'm so happy that someone mentioned my banner!! I love smiling!Sam--I'm a sucker for dimples! LOL

And thank you, for getting what I was trying to say with this story, and for taking the time to read and review. I really appreciate it! I hope you'll take a look at the new story I just posted, "The Silences Between." I'd love to hear what you think!

Thanks again!

Cute - very cute. Love the thought of Dean getting all bent out of shape over a pop quiz - lol. Especially when all his answers were the right ones according to the hunters' and Winchesters' codes of conduct (and awesome big brother's code as well).

And poor Sam sort of bearing the brunt of it by having to find them a hunt ASAP so Dean could soothe his wounded pride and prove to his little brother and the world that he was still the best hunter around.

Loved the practical joke at the end, and Dean earlier on getting Sam back by threatening him with Maccas and a possible run-in with the dreaded Ronald McDonald - lol. Even the statue at the entrance would make Sam prop for a moment.

So great to see you back, hun, and firing on all eight cylinders as usual. You certainly haven't lost your touch, that's for sure.

hugs

Jules

Author's Response:

Aww, Jules, what a lovely review! Thank you!!! It's so nice to be back and to see everyone again! I've missed you guys!

I just posted another one-shot that I hope everyone will like, "The Silences Between." If you get a chance to take a look, I'd love to hear what you think--your opinion means a lot to me!

I'm thrilled you liked this story. Humor is really hard to do, and it's not easy to tell if you're hitting the mark. I'm happy that you liked it! Thanks for letting me know!

LOL!  I loved this!  Especially since yesterday my husband took my youngest daughter out into the desert with some other friends to go shooting for the very first time.  They had set up targets with zombie pictures on them.  My daughter fired the shotgun, and asked if they could get a grenade launcher.  She says she's prepared to survive a zombie apocalypse now.  She and Dean.  :)

Author's Response:

That's a great story, Julie! Yep, sounds like she and Dean are ready to go, LOL.

I'm thrilled you liked this so much. It's always hard to tell if humor is going to hit the mark. I'm happy this one did for you!

Thanks for being such a faithful and encouraging reviewer! It means a lot to me!

Aww, thanks for the stars and the review, I appreciate both!

I have some other humorous stories up, if you're interested. "The Power of Suggestion" is a longer one-shot, then I have some wee!Chester fics as well. I hope you'll consider giving some of them a look, I'd love to hear what you think!

Thanks again!

Ah, I loved it!  Trust Dean to get offended by a stupid internet quiz.  And Sam's "Gift" was just icing on the cake!

Thanks for sharing!

As Always,

Joee

Author's Response:

Joee,

Thank so much for taking the time to read my story and review. I'm thrilled that you liked it so much. I really enjoy trying to show the lighter side of the brothers' relationship.

If  you liked this one, I have another humorous one-shot you might like, "The Power of Suggestion." If you check it out, I'd love to hear what you think!

Thanks again!

Loved, loved it! Loved the brotherly bantering. You really pegged the two so well. Dean's bravado, compassion, and self sacrificing is all Dean. Sam being the supportive and understanding little brother hit the mark, too. How I miss these brothers of the first couple of seasons. Thanks for sharing your great story here.

Author's Response:

Hey there! I always love to see a review come through from you--thanks for the kind words and the stars! I really appreciate both!!

I'm thrilled that you liked this one so much! I, too, miss the brothers from the early seasons (probably why my writing hasn't ventured beyond early season 4 yet). I'm happy to know there's someone else like me out there.

I just posted a fic with TONS of early season brotherly moments in it, if you're interested: "The Silences Between." If you check it out, I'd love to hear what you think!

Thanks again! Hope to see you around!
