this is what a story is about the entertwine of evil hurting bobby and then ridculling the boys to what may happen to them. the devoted love they have for him. i as many have wondered in what way Uncle Bobby is to Sam ... i know Sam loves him like a dad, but deep down i would like to know. Dean loves him as a father. i was wondering if i can have a copy of this beautifull sonnet of words that you have placed on this site ... i <3 it emensly and thank you if no one has done that EVER ... from your number one fanatic ... yes i love sam. :) i will leave you my online email thank you all for the work and unblished work that will apear. pissedsam74@yahoo.com please tell me that this is not the end...

Oh, Bobby certainly is more like family than Samuel could ever be. I loved how Dean missed this side of Sam, the emotional side that hurts so deeply, the kid brother that cares so much and that big brother can be there to protect and soothe. Bobby doesn't have to pretend to be their father. Somebody ought to and thank goodness they have Bobby who is. This was a nice way to finish out the challenge. Amazing how we can all come up with something different and yet the themes are the same, family and love. Thanks, B.J.

Hey, hun, Love how you titled the story on Bobby's flat statement to Samuel. And love the tie-in to Faith as well, with Sam getting lost in the similarities of Dean's electrocution. We saw how hard it was for Sam to watch his surrogate father undergo that treatment when he turned away - you gave us the peek inside his head as to exactly what he was thinking and feeling. Also loved Dean's determination that Bobby wasn't going to die, not on his watch, and the mirroring of Dean's words with Sam's memories of his own attempt to revive his big brother six years ago. And Bobby's affirmation to Dean's statement about family....serious "AWWWW" factor in there, hun. Love your work! Jules

Great tag Denise. Totally believable that Sam would remember Dean being electrocuted when he saw Dean having to electrocute Bobby to rid him of the Khan worm. And seeing Bobby not breathing after the worm was expelled just tipped him over the edge. Loved Dean in concerned big brother mode, and Sam responding to him, something sadly lacking when he was roboSam. And Samuel may have been related to the boys by blood, but Bobby is their family. Loved this. Sarah

Loved this one Denise..and your tie in to "Faith" was a great idea. I'm sure it would shake up Sam, since he's the one who experienced both of his family members being eletrocuted. I'm loving these SH Writer's Challenges. Take care, Jane

I like the referral back to 'Faith' it would be a stark reminder to Sam of what he/Dean had been through before, and Bobby is the true Father figure to them no matter what Samuel said. Nice one. Jacq
