I just loved this take on the deal. How perceptive of you to see, to help us see, Dean's perspection of happiness that things actually worked out right. I have been on the maudlin side but yes, the idea that Dean can now l(in your fantastic words) live life released of his burdens, the life of a free man, and that Sam can make his life happy is a revelation. Your Winchester connection via the hugs and silent communication, all with the very astute Bobby watching on was magic - well written, very creative, I was "just there". Thanks for the great read, the great angle!
Thanks so much for the wonderful review. Now that we are into the season and seeing how the show is handling it, it is interesting to revisit this story. I only hope the show gives us some emotional hugs or bonding between the brothers eventually.
I do think Dean feels a tremendous release and is not focusing on the year down the road, he is living in the moment and relishing not having all those pressures on him.
The new pressures of facing his impending death is coming, but he still has the joy of knowing Sammy is alive. That trumps any other feelings he may have down the line.
Thanks again, B.J.

What a beautiful job you have done with this, summing up both Dean's joy and Sam's impending loss. Sam thinking it was such a crappy deal and Dean thinking the exact opposite. Loved it. Thank you!
Thank you for that lovely review!
Dean did look so joyful and relieved at the end of AHBL2 and I was shocked how well Sam took the news of the deal. I just imagine once everything sinks in, Sammy will be more anguished over the deal and Dean will continue on as he did in much of S1, just enjoying the moment.
'Til next time, B.J.

Very good story! I mean I laughed, I cried...I loved it! :0) Good job!
The show always manages to mix all the emotions into an episode and I loved trying my hand at it. So happy you thought it worked. Take care, B.J.

Awesome! I love the connection you have between the boys in this - and Bobby just soaking it up in the background - perfect. Sweet, funny, poignant and just plain bang on...
Thanks for the awesome review!
I love Bobby, he seems like such a sage old soul. I love how he does just kinda take in what is going on around him and when he speaks, you know it is important.
And I love exploring how the brothers relate differently to situations. Sam is definitely going to be worrying about this deal, while Dean looked decidedly pleased with himself at the end of the episode.
Take care, B.J.

this was fantastic.......thank you for sharing it with us.
Author's Response: Thank you for reviewing. I love exploring the different outlooks the boys have. Sam is the one who is facing the prospect of losing his big brother. I see major angst for him, while Dean is finally free to live. Later, B.J.

Excellent, very nice take on the final episode, I like the idea of Dean finally getting a chance to live - Thanks for the read - K
Thanks for reviewing!
I do think Dean deserves to relax and live for once without all the pressures of the world on his shoulders. Let Sammy handle the responsibility for awhile.
I hope Dean is more cocky and devil may care in S3. We'll see! Take care, B.J.

I likey very much! Definitely captured Sam's angst and Dean's attituse on life. I really do think he will make the most of it and Sam will work to keep his promise!
Thanks! I can't wait to see what will happen in S3. I do think Dean will be more cocky and relaxed and Sammy will be worried.
Thanks for reviewing, B.J.

Love this. Only Dean would be trying to come up with the perfect line. I think he's always lived for the moment and wouldn't change just because his time is limited. He has faith in Sam, but he's also a realist. I think he'll give hell more than it bargained for.
Yeah, Dean has lived with the prospect of death his entire life. Now that he has accomplished his mission, maybe he can relax a little and enjoy this year.
Sammy is going to be going crazy with worry, but Dean looked so pleased and happy/cocky at the end of the episode. I do think he is going to live life to the fullest now.
Heaven help Hell if he ends up there. He is going to give them all Hell!
Thanks for reviewing. Later, B.J.

that was so sweet. the part with them hugging nearly brought me to tears.
Thanks! You gotta love the hugs! I just had to let Sammy recipricate with the hug, and knowing what he now knows, he is going to want to hang on to Dean as tightly as he can.
Take care, B.J.

Loved it. I think you got Dean's feelings of the whole thing just right. The YED is dead, Sam won't be evil (hopefully), and Dad is out of hell. Of course Dean is gonna just let loose and live for once. And Sam will just have to stop with the brooding and go with it. Loved the "last lines" too but I'm thinking Dean's last word would be "Bitch".
Thanks! Yeah, his last line will probably be "son of a bitch!" LOL
I did feel a tremendous weight lift off of Dean's shoulders at the end. His earnest pride in killing the YED. "Can't we just enjoy the moment?"
I do think Dean is going to have an easier time of it, he did accomplish what he set out to do. It is much harder watching someone you love die. Sam is going to have a rough time learning to enjoy the moment.
Thanks again for the lovely review, B.J.

wow!!! make me feel sad and happy at the same time!!!
excelent!!!! i like it!
Author's Response: Thanks, that was what I was hoping for. I do think Dean will try to enjoy what time he may have left. That smile he gave at the end of AHBL2 just harkened back to the the S1 Dean, cocky and fun-loving. Take care, B.J.
