Loved this chapter, especially John coming back and being concerned instead of putting his boys down. Loved his promise in the very end. I though it was funny that you said you were going to write a sequel, because I kept thinking about asking you for one. I'll wait for it, in the meantime I can read whatever else you come up with. Poor Sammy, I understand why he blames himself, but he is just a little boy and it breaks my heart how he takes on the responsibility. I just want to hold him and then shake some sense into him. Can't wait to see how he is going to get through this. Hugs, Vonnie

First of all, I'm so sorry about your puppy. I know how it is to loose your dog and it hurts horribly. They become your children and best friends. Hope you're doing okay. Intriguing start! You've got me hooked. What happened to the boys to get them in their predicament? The only thing that's a worry is Dean's behaviour, as Vonnie has said. But there are plenty of good reasons why - Friday night, party, Sam convincing Dean to go, yadda yadda. Maybe all part of a plan Sam had to go out and hunt something on his own with Joey. I can't wait for more!

Really liked the start of this one. Sam sneaking out, wonder what Joey and he planned planned? And now they are in deep trouble, very mysterious. Just one note, if Sammy is 12 that makes Dean 16 and it seems a little out of character that he would go off drinking, when John is out of town. I just think Sam is a little too young yet that he would have done that. But it's no big deal, as it's just my personal opinion of Dean. Love the story no matter what! Hugs, Vonnie
