I'm sorta speechless over this one. What a wonderful tag to that episode- which I sortof despised for the way in which it ended. I would have never thought of this... never have focused on the crashing of the car, the missing of the bus, etc... so the way you wove this together along with what Dean had to be feeling in the interim of Death replacing Sam's soul and him waking back up- had to be something along these lines.
I love how you so wonderfully captured the characters- Bobby was perfect- especially as he recoils from Dean (reflecting on soulless Sam) Nice! And Cas- sweet, clueless Cas! Gotta love that angel. You captured his speech patterns and mannerisms just spot on!
Again- such a wonderful tag! I think I'll have to read it again!
