Angels and Demons can be as devious as each other, they all have their own agenda, I think we need Dean to sort her out. Thanks for the comment  The next chapters are going to be hard to complete, I have so many plot lines to resolve.

And yep, I caught the continuity, Jacq - recognised Death's ravine from your beautiful little piece.

But I have to say....what a first-class cow Bath Kol is. I don't blame Sam for saying no to her, not because he didn't want to help Rachel, but for not allowing himself to be manipulated/blackmailed by another angel. Because let's face it, even our beloved Cass hasn't entirely been upfront with the boys on occasion - letting a strung-out, detoxing Sam out of the panic room while manoeuvring Dean into making that promise to obey Heaven's orders comes immediately to mind.

I don't think she can be trusted at all, given what she said. Either he helped willingly, or he would be forced into helping, but either way, she was going to make that existing crack in his wall wider so Rachel's own wall would be demolished and the angel could take possession (yes, possession - go, Sammy!) of her vessel again. I'm having trouble believing that Bath Kol would actually keep her promise and not discard Sam like an empty husk of corn once she was done with him. After all, when have the angels ever cut the poor kid a break? And this is the same kid who derailed their precious little apocalypse and drove Bath Kol from her vessel in the first place. If this is for revenge, she's just found a perfect way to get it.

And poor Dean - he's going to be swimming in guilt now, since all this happened while he was having a few hours off. Hope he can find a way to reach Sam and pull him out of the hell that Bath Kol has plunged him into.

As Dean would say..."Freakin' angels!"

the plot does indeed thicken, and Bath Kol, she's as arrogant as any of the higher Angels, but there may be a soft side somewhere, we shall see

Well....talk about off and running. And what's with Sam's memory? True or false? And if true, how the heck is Rachel still walking around? What on earth is she?

Great start, Jacq. I can see some big brother angst and anger on the horizon as Sam tries to convince him to risk pulling down the wall again while they try to find answers.
