I like this story. I've often wondered about Sam in the days after Mystery Spot. He was never the same after that episode, IMO. I do think you could use more spacing in your story format. Everything seems kinda jumbled together and on this background it's easier to read with better spacing, especially when you have old eyes like mine. :)
Author's Response: Thanks for the input. I have some trouble with the spacing on this website, on how to use it, I mean. For some reason it won't let me just upload it directly from my computer and when I cut and paste, I have to go through and do everything piece by piece. Oh well, I'll figure it out. Glad you like the story!

Very well written. There's a lump in my throat. I think it's there because my heart breaks for the guys, and because the last line about friendship is so true. A touching piece.
Author's Response: Thanks very much for your kind words. I love this show so much and love to write so I feel I am putting my whole heart into these stories. It feels great to hear that you like it.

Two friends, Supernaturalfan and Vonnie836 recommended I check out your work and love the start of this story. You got Sam so right in the aftermath of Mystery Spot, and how he felt after seeing Dean die, day after day and then the six months without him, plus the desperation of him wanting to find a solution to save Dean from his deal. And you wrote Bobby wonderfully too, reeling from what Sam had to say but knowing when to listen rather than talk. Looking forward to more as it does not say this story is complete! Sarah
Author's Response: I'm so glad you-all are liking my stories, cause I'm having a very good time writing them. I'm sorry, though, "Rise & Shine!" is complete. I put complete on it, but for some reason the system isn't accepting it. I'll have to check with Tree, see if she can help. You know, though, maybe I won't change it. Because I'm thinking at some point in the future I'm going to revisit that story. Not at the point where I broke off this time, but a future time. Sam could use some closure! Telling Bobby would probably only bring temporary relief. Anyway, thanks!

Enjoyed this one. I always wondered if Sam told Dean everything that happened in Mystery Spot. I can believe it would eat at him..that's just Sam, but I can also believe he would not want Dean to know how hard it was for him..he would want to protect him from that. I can also imagine him needing to tell someone..and Bobby being the one he turns to. I love that Bobby listened and chose to protect Dean from the truth too..out of respect for Sam..and love for both boys. This was great closure for one of my favorite episodes. Take care, Jane
Author's Response: One of my absolute favorites, too. The back and forth between Dean's wonderful comic bits and Sam's pain. I always remember that last scene. Dean asking Sam if anything else happened, and Sam saying it was just a dream. That broken look on Sam's face as he looks at the room, the bed, before he leaves. Great episode.

I really liked this a lot. You got drunk Sammy right and it was funny, but knowing the timing of the story made it really tragic even before it got more serious. When Sam finally woke and told the story it nearly broke my heart, even though I've seen the episode so many times. Loved Bobby for listening and for being there and not saying anything to Dean. Great read! Hugs, Vonnie
Author's Response: Thanks very much. I'm glad you liked it. Mystery Spot is one of my favorites, too. It works on so many different levels. Sam's pain, Dean's amazingly funny faces (these tacos taste funny to you?). Thanks again, Vonnie. Hope you like my other stuff too. Leigh Ann

I like your Bobby. He's a wise and true friend to the boys. Bird
Author's Response: Thanks very much. He's a great character, isn't he? One of my favorites. I appreciate your kind words. I have a new series which will be posting soon and he's going to be a significant part of that as well. Thanks again. Leigh Ann
