Hi Jules!!! I have been sadly absent from reviewing this wonderful story! I have been so busy lately but I have been reading all your wonderful words as my morning gift with my coffee and the new morning light. I have loved every moment, as usual. These wonderful reviews say it all for me many times over. Hope your life is settling as it needs and will. Look forward to hearing from you again always! All my prayers are with you. Jo
Author's Response: *gasps in shock* Hullo, Jo! *huge cyber-hugs* I've missed you!!!!! Thought you might have been still a mushy heap after your - was it a Con you went to? Will have to go back through my emails to refresh my memory. No - Paley Festival, wasn't it? Well, that foot must have all healed up by now - hope you've been keeping well. We're settling into the new routine - Chris has been living with me now for two weeks. We've still got some boxes to unpack and find homes for stuff, but we're doing all right...well, we would be if we could get this iffy internet connection sorted out. So glad you popped in - you made my Sunday! And glad you enjoyed this one, too. I had fun seeing how many times I could get Sam Daphne'd - ROFL! hugs Jules

Excellent...always fun times to read your stories. Your team rocks my world! I understand how stress can make the muse run...I hope and pray for your family that things get better soon. Karen
Author's Response: Thanks hun. Yeah, topsy-turvy times at the moment, but it's starting to settle down a bit. So thrilled that you loved this one. It's been a very long time on the drawing board, so it was good to see it finished and enjoyed. Thanks for your good wishes - all are gratefully received at the moment. We were running on fumes at the end there. Jules

Awe cold Sammy...always a fan fav! That ghost won't give up. Very fun story! Onward, karen
Author's Response: Thanks for that, Karen, Sorry I've been slow to respond...the big move took longer than we anticipated. But it's done now - we've just got to sort out this end and get into a routine. So glad you loved cold Sammy and our very persistent ghostie - lol. Take care - hope you're well. Oh, and I loved the final chapter of Inner Sam, and that ending, while a bit sad, was also very sweet. Great work, my friend. Jules

Wet confused Sammy....wonderful job! I run out of things to say - you are so good at this! You make me believe! Believe that I am not just reading words on a page...put actually placed in the world you've created. Karen
Author's Response: Hey, Karen! Hope you've been keeping well. Oh, and talk about being placed right in the story - I adore where you're taking us with Inner Sam - can't wait for the next chapter. I check every second day to see if you've updated yet - lol. Thanks so much for that, my friend. I'm thrilled that you love wet confused Sammy. My Sammy torture isn't over yet - *grins wickedly*. I have lots more in store for him before the final paragraph! hugs Jules

Real Life has been crazy but I finally had time to finish this story- and what a fun read. I'm sad to hear you are going on hiatus and the reasons for it... but I'll be here with bells on waiting for the next one whenever that might be. :)
Author's Response: Sorry, Claudia - doing this at work as internet at home is completely cactus, and has been for well over a week. Oh, you and me both in regard to real life being crazy. Any crazier and they'd be measuring me for one of those stylish white jackets with the wrap-around sleeves. So glad you loved this one. It's been a long time on my drawing board, the poor thing. I don't know who was more relieved when I finally got the last chapter finished - me, Chris or Sarah. Although, I think Chris was more gob-smacked than relieved.....LOL. Thanks, hun. I'm working on something at the moment, but the muse has run off screaming and is hiding under a rock somewhere. Perhaps once Chris is all moved in and we have a bit of calm before the house renovations start, I might be able to lure her back. Take care, Jules

Finally got around to reading and reviewing this awesome final chapter after the wonderful but hectic weekend at JIB and coming back to reality with a jolt! Had to laugh at the old folks wanting to accompany Dean to find Sam after he returned to the guesthouse looking for a chainsaw for that log but it turned out they were useful, even though Sam was not at the places they remembered. And trust Eli, the sly old dog, to know of a place the others hadn't thought of, guess he was one of Allie's conquests years ago. And what a good job Eli had known Frederick Purdue had returned to town and went to get him, as without him they would have been up against it with Allie. At least after hearing his apology she was happy to go towards the light. And poor Sam just had to get wet again, he was certainly put through the mill during this hunt. So had to laugh at Dean's quip that Sam had got rescued by Fred after he got Daphne'd again!
Just knew there was no way Dean would let Sam get away without honouring the bet, think he probably chose Lexington as knew it would have a shop he could buy the wig at! Not surprised Sam had a thunderous expression on his face as he exited the bathroom, complete with new hairdo! And poor Sam, being made to go out and eat, wearing the wig. He should have put his foot down and demanded to eat in! Hopefully Dean will take pity on his little brother and his embarrassment and only make him wear the wig for a couple of days, but there again ............. :) Great too that Ginny and Fred finally got to reignite their love for each other in their twilight years.
A really great read sis, loved it from first work until last, so glad it finally saw the light of day! :) Hope real life eases up for you soon. I will be ready and waiting when the muse kicks into gear again. Sarah
Author's Response: Hey, sis, I was sort of hoping you'd still be walking on air after finally meeting your boy, and getting your picture taken with him! Have you washed that shoulder that he touched? LOL. I'm glad you loved Dean's helpers - lol. Oh, but it wasn't Eli who knew about the final secret hideaway, sis. So sorry I didn't make that clearer, but it was Fred, in the car with Eli, who was passing him the information to relay to Moss. I couldn't make it perfectly clear as I didn't want to tip my hand that Eli had Fred with him until the big reveal at the cabin, but that is what Moss was referring to when he asked Eli who was that with him, then got cut off by Eli giving him instructions. Fred had been to the final secret place with Allie - he was the only one apart from Allie who knew where it was. Sorry, sis...*woobie face*.... And yep, Eli knew Fred had returned and settled nearby, and when he got the information from Sam about how ghosts had unfinished business, he put two and two together and went to get Fred - Allie's unfinished business. Ah, Sammy - I just had to have him rescued by Fred, thus sealing his Daphne status forever - lol. I've had that little scene planned for two years! Glad you loved the happy ending for our sweet little Ms Virginia. I think she deserved it. And thank you for helping me tweak the wig scene at the end, sis. That final little edit married the story up perfectly with the banner. hugs, and will let you know how John goes with his assessment from the A-Cat team on Monday. Ju

Hey Jules, Sam got thoroughly Daphne'd then lol, and it was nice to have Virginia & Frederick reunited, there's hope for me yet :) Great story, thank you for lighting up the day a little. I hope your family things work out in a positive way for you all and muses do tend to hide on occasion but they always come back, eventually lol Jacq x
Author's Response: Thanks for that, Jacq. Yep, he did, didn't he - lol. Poor Sam, lucky the bet was only for a week. But who knew they'd stumble upon such a determined spirit...*chuckles*... Poor Sammy. And yes, I wanted to give poor fluffy Virginia a happy ending by reuniting her with her high school sweetheart. I like my happy endings! I wish everyone could have one. Thanks, hun, I'm really stoked that I could give you a few laughs. And thank you for your well wishes. It will all work out, it's just a matter of getting through this period of upheaval with moving and all the other stuff first. My uncle has stabilised medically, and seems happy enough in the hospital routine. On some level he is aware that he won't be coming home, but he is not anywhere near as stressed about it as we expected him to be. The big move is on the weekend of the 6th of May, so hopefully after that the muse might wander home and help me with some of these WIP's. Take care, Jules

What a great finale . Frantic search for Sam, a "I didn't see this coming" Fred saving Sam from being Allie's latest victim, a final goodbye from Fred to Allie and a sweet reunion between Virginia and Fred and the best for the last, Sam wearing the red wig, a bet is a bet Sam, lol. Jules, I enjoyed this so much, thank you for it. Sorry to hear about what you're living in your RL, my thoughts're with you. I'll be here whenever you'll be ready to post again. Take care.
Author's Response: Thanks for that hun. My uncle seems to have settled into the hospital routine quite well, even though he keeps getting up when he shouldn't and he's had quite a few falls. We should know soon about his going into a nursing home. I'm really thrilled that you loved the epilogue, and the unexpected turn of events that had Fred rescuing 'Daphne' Winchester - lol. I had that planned right from the start, thereby sealing not just Sam's loss on the bet, but his Daphne status forever in Dean's eyes - *grins*. And I wanted a happy ending for sweet old Virginia - and who better to help her run that big old guest house than her long-lost love? Yep, a bet is a bet, and Sam pinky-swore - he's going to have to suck it up and wear that wig - lol. But something tells me Dean will let him off the hook after a day or two. Thanks, hun, I really appreciate your wonderful words. I will be back - not sure when, but I'll definitely be back before the end of the year. Jules

Wow, that was an awsam journey throughout the whole story! I really loved it. Poor Sammy got daphned a couple of times and lost the bet!! Awwwwwww... bad bad Dean; red hair like Daphne never suits Sam. By the way, I liked the ghost's freaky attitude. LOL...the way she rolled her eyes when Sam was babbling that he wasn't Fred (instead he was the Daphne) hahahahaha (OMG... Fred, Daphne hihihihi.... and where's Scooby-doo Dean). It was so funny and Allie was the freakiest gosh I've ever seen. Well, virtually!!! Lovely story and definitely my favorite one. And yay, I'm getting alerts again. Today I got one review alert, thanks to you. Jared in ROME.... yeah.... :'(( I want to see him, touch him :'(( Have you seen the con's photos btw? They're awesome. He looks gorgeous in this pale yellow shirt!! *drools like a puppy* He's hothothot XD ^__^ Now I'll have t wait for your next new story...it's going to be hard. What are going to write next anyway? Can I have a hint please!!!!!!!! And yay, April 15th is getting closer! Yay... can't wait to see a cowboy Sam. ooooo...I'm over excited X))) Asks politely------ what about me and Sam!!!! *puppy eyes* Hugs you tight, Ritu.
Author's Response: After the 9th of May, okay? There's just way too much happening around us to even think about it before then. Everything has to be packed up and either moved into storage or moved into my home, so there won't be time for Chris to do any artwork. Or me to do any writing. Once the move is over, there will be a bit of time between that and the house renovations, so perhaps in the gap, okay? We haven't forgotten - just way too busy. Yep, Sammy lost the bet - a few times actually. And yep, he's a redhead now, at least for a few days until Dean relents and stops making him wear it. So glad you loved Fred saving Daphne - I mean Sammy - lol. And yeah, Allie was fun to write, and a pretty gutsy ghost. If she'd been alive, and still young, I reckon Dean would have had a hard time keeping his mind on the hunt - lol. Ah, but then again, she only had eyes for Sam... Thanks, hun - will chat to you via email soon. Internet connection is playing up a bit, so it might not be a for a couple of days. But I'll let Chris know about the bio page banner as well, and she'll get to work on that after the move. Jules

Okay, for the last chapter(wipes tears away), here it goes. I had to chuckle at Dean, when he burned the bones, he certainly was angry and typical Dean when Sammy is in danger. To bad that even him being upset didn't help, although he didn't know it yet. Poor Sammy, once again waking up all tied up. At least he wasn't in the cabin and in the water, but waking up like this and then finding out that he was in company of the three corpses, not fun. Allie showing up and him worrying about what happened to Dean, so awesome. Not so awesome was Allie not believing him that he wasn't Fred, starting to undress him and then...Darn it, you went over to Dean. But I loved Dean going all worried big brother on the old people and then even agreeing to take them, although only because he didn't know Allie wasn't gone. I really appreciate him not wanting to put them in danger. Allie deciding Fred/Sam needed more convincing and taking her dress off after she 'had' to knock him out again. I could see Sam blush before he even woke. Again, I just love Virginia in her innocence. She is so adorable. Can see how Dean is getting frantic over not finding Sam. Good that Virginia and the others know about the other places. Once more I had to smile when Sam woke and was shocked at the sight of a naked ghost sitting there. How he tried to convince her he wasn't Fred and she needed to go into the light and how it didn't do what he wanted, it was priceless. And Dean came to the rescue at the very last moment. That was close. But even burning the place didn't help and she just followed them. Wow, again they got beat up by a girl, okay, so it was a ghost girl, but still. And then they get to meet the real Fred. Wow, I was hoping he didn't die, but I didn't expect this. At least he got Allie to finally forgive him and go into the light, happy ending there. And how funny was it when Dean remarked that Sam got saved by Fred. You planned that, didn't you? I'm so happy for Virginia and Fred that they finally got a happy ending too. Lot of wasted time, but in the end, at least in their age they don't have to be alone. It almost made me cry. And it looks like the quote that quiet waters run deep is true again, judging from Virginia's words. I should have known that though from how she reacted to almost naked Sam earlier in the story. Can't believe how much I love this character. I understand that the boys just wanted to leave as soon as possible and even more that Sam's bruises gave birth to bruises and he is really sore and tired. Poor kid, I just knew when Dean decided to leave him at the motel what his plan was. Well it was easy to see this coming, still, loved Sam's reaction. I was hoping Dean would just make him put the wig on and then tell him they were good and he could take it off again. Yet that wouldn't be fun now would it? Loved how Dean got the wig arranged though it would look kinda like Sam's shaggy style. This was definitely a story that came so close to an actual episode, it was almost scary. It had all the elements. The funny banter and brotherly love, the concern and action, a great background story, some great OC's, one of which I really loved, but all of them very lively and some serious notes about the deal. You stayed so true to the season and the boys in general, while still bringing in your own note, so genius. Absolutely loved this story and really hate to see it end. I'll miss this and I'm glad now I waited with reading, as I knew that there wasn't anything to follow for a while. I do understand though and want you to take care of yourself and those you love. Love you girl! Hugs, Vonnie
Author's Response: John's assessment is on Monday, and Chris moves in on the 6th of May, so it's all go over the next three weeks. As I said to Deb, between the move and the start of the renovations, I might try to write something. Not sure if I can do Jane's challenge though - the brain just isn't focussing on anything but packing and moving at the moment. So glad you loved the final chapter, and Allie's last-ditch effort to win over a very reluctant Sam. And yes, I did indeed plan to have Sam saved by Fred, right from the time I first thought of the idea for the story. There was always going to be the confrontation scene between the boys, the ghost, and the long-missing Fred, so Fred could save our Daphne. And glad you loved the happy ending. My Pollyanna soul craves them like you wouldn't believe. And I'm really thrilled that you took to Virginia so much. She really was the linchpin of the story, even though she had no idea. And neither did the boys, at first. Dean sort of got the idea from his questioning, but it wasn't until the old boys revealed the past events that he realised the full importance. Ah, the wig - I'm absolutely stoked that you liked the little scene where Dean rearranges the wig to suit Sam's messy style - because I added that at the very last minute. It was literally the final tweak for the story. Thank you, my dear friend, for coming along for the ride. I'm so thrilled that you enjoyed it so much. Jules

Jules, thanks so such a wonderful story. I loved scooby-do as a kid. Hope your life changes bring you only good things and looking forward to seeing more from you when everthing settles down. Take care, Deb
Author's Response: Thanks so much for that, Deb. I'm glad I could give you a bit of lightness at the moment. And yes, I couldn't resist the whole Daphne being saved by Fred thing. Poor Sammy - lol. Moving day is the 6th & 7th of May, so we've stepped up the packing schedule. Should be all right though. I've got five days off for Easter so I'll get a fair bit done over that time. And we've got a few friends helping us on the day - or days, I should say. So then it will be a bit of a lull waiting on council approval for plans, approval on finance, etc, before the building begins. Might pop my head in the door before the construction starts. Take care, Jules

Well Sam lost that bet..big surprise there LOL..and Dean got way too much pleasure out of that one...gotta love 'em. ROFL!! Ghost made him lose his favourite gun..the boys really do need bungee chords. Well Dean does..for his favourite gun and for Sam..LOL I loved Frederick..reminded me so much of Sam while he was talking to Allie..with a touch of Dean with Ginny. You got him just right!!! You take all the time you need. You know I'm not going anywhere..so I'll be anxiously waiting your return to UnGen. I will talk to you soon with our SH friends. You, Chris and your family are in my prayers. Thank goodness new episodes start in a week..that will make all things easier. Take care friend, Jane
Author's Response: Thank you, Jane. And there's still the next SH challenge - might see if I can get some time to write over Easter, since we've got a five-day weekend here in Australia with Anzac Day on the Tuesday. Yep, Sam lost big time. He should have known better than to take that bet - that was just tempting fate a little too much - lol. So glad you loved Fred, the hero of the hour....and the bloke who caused it all in the first place. It was always my intention to have Sam saved by Fred at the eleventh hour, thereby confirming Sam's status as Daphne - lol. And of course, Dean would get such a kick out of the turn of events. Even though he did lose his favourite gun. Bungee cords would definitely be a nifty addition to their arsenal. Thanks, my friend. John's still waiting to be assessed, but the physiotherapist and the doctors have advised that he won't improve from the level he currently is - he'll just keep going downhill. But he seems to be happy in the hospital routine, so that's a plus. hugs Jules

LOL! Fred rescues Daphne! Good one! I'm so sad that you're needing to take a break. Hang in there, lady, and I hope that some of those changes are for the good? Hope? Come back soon! *hugs*
Author's Response: LOL, thanks Julie. Yep, that was my end goal - to have Fred rescue our 'Daphne'. I had that scene in mind right from the word go, two years ago. It was very satisfying to bring the story to that point. As for us - well, the upshot of it is my uncle (Chris' brother) has to go into a nursing home, and I'm looking to have a flat built onto my house so she can move in with me. It's a worrying and stressful time - tried to work on a story last night, but I just couldn't get the words from my brain to the paper. So rather than put up something of sub-standard, I'm taking a break until things settle down. Vonnie's story Changes - New Beginnings has a lot of meaning for Chris and me at the moment, because we're going through the same thing, basically. Changes and new beginnings. hugs Jules

A great ending to this humorous story. Poor Sam. I hope everything is okay for you and life gets back on an even keel soon. Kim
Author's Response: Thanks so much, Kim. I'm chuffed that you had as much fun reading this as I had writing it. Yeah, I hope so too. Big upheavals over the next few weeks. Hopefully things will move quickly and everything will settle down in the projected three to four months. But one of the things going on is renovations for the house, so it's going to be noisy and disrupted for at least six weeks. The muse will definitely flee during that time. Thanks so much for the support. It really means a lot. Jules

Author's Response: Thank you so much, my friend. I'm thrilled that you enjoyed this one. I had fun writing it, even across the two year gap from start to finish - lol. What is it with this year? I hate it when Sam loses bets :(( Poor Sammy; always gets snatched by freaky ghosts (which is kinda entertaining for us....um..meee). I was laughing (shame on me, sheesh) when the ghost grabbed him. It was scary but nonetheless funny. I'm weird, I know. Now again... AGAIN.... Sam's down :'( what's happening!!! I'm worried for him :(( Love this one and waiting for tomorrow. What about my freaking account? Did you do those clicking flicking stuff? Do you think I'd get alerts from now on??? I missed you soooo much :(( Hugs, Ritu (P.S. I love when you call me Padawan.... heehee.. sounds aweeesam)
Author's Response: Yes, I know how much of a hurt!Sam junkie you are - lol... hope you're also a fan of red-head Sam, because he's certainly lost the bet now. And yeah, it was pretty funny when Allie grabbed Sam again. However, where he ends up is a pretty scary place....*cue scary music*... You should be very worried for him. *looks serious*... I checked into your freaking account, and I tweaked the freaking thing and did the flicking-clicking stuff, so if it doesn't freaking work this time, you need to freaking email Tree and get her to fix the freaking alerts! Whew....*wipes forehead*...if it doesn't work this time, then there must be something wrong with the site, so she needs to know about it. Well, my young Padawan, only one chapter to go now, and then I'm on a bit of a hiatus until I get this family stuff sorted. And I've got that chapter of yours to beta this weekend, too. You might just have to keep emailing me, eh? lol hugs Jules

Author's Response: Hey, Claudia, Thanks for that. I had fun writing this one, even though I did worry that I wouldn't get it finished - lol. Just goes to show, one should never throw a story idea away. So glad you're loving this. All will be revealed in the final chapter, including the last mystery surrounding Allie, and Eli's sudden errand. Oh, and where Sam is - lol. Mustn't forget about that.... Jules

Arghh...Not again, what Allie has in store for Sam, he nearly died the last time she got him, I'm not so sure that she went back at the cabin, I'm afraid that Dean'll have a hard time to find them and Elie where he's gone. Lot of questions, I can't wait for the answers.
Author's Response: Hi, hun, Yep, she's got him again. She's determined to have him at any cost, even risking the wrath of Dean to have her prize. Ah, so you don't think Allie's stashed Sammy in the same place as last time? Hmm....you might be onto something there....*winks* As for where Eli has rushed off to - all is about to be revealed. hugs Jules

Dean and Allie fighting for Sam, Dean trying to pull him away from her, while she is choking him and trying to take him, was very dramatic and took my breath away. Guess it took Sam's too and it looks like Eli threw the salt at the last moment. I can understand his doubt and Moss appearing probably didn't help, but I still wanted to slap him. At least it wasn't too late yet. Guess Virginia was more involved in this than I thought, but really, she was just as innocent as Allie. Well, I guess Allie wasn't really 'innocent' per say. It was Purdue's fault for not being able to choose for so long and stringing both girls along and yet, can he really be blamed? I guess yes and no. I had to know that it was wrong, but both girls were beautiful and one gave him more than the other, which might have been what kept him going back to Allie, because it looked like in the end he really wanted Virginia. And he obviously blamed himself for Allie's death, as he went to war, although he objected against it. So sad that in the end Virginia, who was really the innocent here got hurt and had to live with it, while the other two took the easy way out. (Okay, so maybe it wasn't that easy, but anyway...) Loved the bickering between Eli and Moss, they are just so funny. And the use of language was hilarious, I can so see that. It looks though as if Eli knows what made Allie return and I wonder what it is. It also makes me wonder if salting and burning her will be enough to stop her or if whatever brought her back is also what's keeping her here? Guess I'll find out. Eloise taking Virginia for a vanilla latte and Dean using it against Sam made me snort, it's just something I really could see Dean doing, so typical for him. I did love the interaction between the boys and the concern Dean showed, but I have come to expect this from this story, as really, that's were they were in that season. The conversation in the grave yard brought back all the pain Sam felt and it was heartbreaking. Add Dean's thoughts to it and I was ready to cry for both boys. Dean can see how much this is hurting Sam and it kills him, yet on the other hand he knows the only way to change this would also kill Sam, literally and he isn't willing to go there. So he has to watch his brother hurt, because the alternative would be so much worse, at least in his mind. Selfish? Maybe, but I would have done the same thing, well okay, I don't think I would go to hell, but anyway. On the other hand here is Sam, who knows what's going to happen and feels responsible for it and he desperately wants to change this, yet not finding a way to do it. Now how can that not tear one apart? On the lighter, yet just as dramatic side, here is Allie reappearing in the grave yard and trying to entice Sam. It was so funny and I laughed as she paraded around and made Sam blush. Poor kid couldn't even tell Dean what she was doing he was that embarrassed by it. Great scene and definitely was a great lead up to her throwing the pack at Sam and making him fall out of the salt circle. So she hit him again and Daphne'd him and then she has the audacity to come back and flip Dean off. Gotta say, she definitely has style and I would love her, if she wouldn't be so mean to Sammy. That cliffie though, definitely evil, could have been written by the devil himself, just to torture me, but oh well, what's another week? It was definitely a lot of fun to read this chapter and see how you spun out the details of Allie's story. Thanks for taking me along for the ride again. Hugs, Vonnie
Author's Response: I am as addicted to writing evil cliffies as Dean is to eating pie...*grins*. So glad you liked the tug-of-war, with Sam being the rope. And yep, Virginia is pretty much the key - or one of them - to the whole mystery. And don't worry, I know what you mean about the other two taking the easy way out - Frederick left the scene, and Allie died, leaving Virginia to grieve for the rest of her life. Oh, the banter between Eli and Moss - I planned that for weeks in my head, but had to actually write up to that point to make sure I didn't miss anything in the explanations. So I'm thrilled to know that it turned out so well. And I love that you picked out the little scenes that mean so much, like Dean ribbing Sam on his choice of coffee when he heard what Eloise said to Virginia, and Allie with her come-hither looks at poor embarrassed Sammy. And her little "ha-ha, I win" gesture at the end. She's a gutsy ghost. But we're moments away from all the mysteries being laid to rest, so I'd better get on. Thank you so much, hun, for coming along for the ride, and for your beautiful reviews. hugs and blessings Jules

Poor Sam..Daphne'd again. I hope he likes how he looks in red, cause he'll be wearing that wig a while. LOL I loved, loved, loved the exchange between Moss and Eli. I couldn't help but imagine Sam and Dean being like that at that age...and what has Eli hiding. Whatever he did brought Allie back..can't wait to find out. I'm thinking next chapter will reveal what happened to the others three victims. I hope Dean can get to Sam before he becomes number four. She's probably hid them good..she's one crafty..and determined ghost. Take care, Jane
Author's Response: Hi, Jane, Yep, he's gone again. Allie's won - for now... And yes, Sam is definitely for the wig. Provided Dean can get to him before he ends up like the other three victims. So pleased that you loved the interaction between Moss and Eli. And that you could picture the boys at that age - that was exactly what I was aiming for, as well as a fun way to tell the backstory. But as for what Eli is hiding, and if what he did was what brought Allie back...well....let's just say that you're on the right track... And yep to all of your last line - we will find the victims, she has hidden them very well, and she is a very crafty and determined ghost indeed. However, I think she just might have met her match in Dean. Time, and the next chapter, will tell. Thanks, my friend, Jules

Jules, first let me say I'm sorry I haven't reviewed, a death in the family has left me with no time, energy or inclination to chat to anybody. Having said that, I have read and enjoyed all your chapters, as always they have brightened my day immeasurably. I absolutely loved the flirty ghost and Sam's embarrasment. Can't wait to see what Eli's up to. Deb
Author's Response: Oh, Deb, I am so sorry to hear about the tragedy in your family. I'm here if you feel like talking. You and your family are still in my prayers. I'm glad I could bring a little light relief into your days with this story. And I'm stoked that you love Allie's shameless flirting with poor, embarrassed Sam. As for what Eli is up to.....all is about to be revealed. Take care, Jules

Oh dear sis, you have had Sam Daphne'd again, poor boy! It seems to me that his 'jackass' Purdue is the link, especially as Sam and the other three victims look like him. That must be the reason that Allie is going for them, thinking they are Purdue and wanting to win him back. Good job that Eli and Moss got Eloise to take Virginia for a fancy coffee, it might have hurt her to hear the past raked over. And it was too much to hope that it would be a simple salt and burn, Allie certainly has a trick or two up her sleeve as she has got Sam to accidentally leave the salt circle and whisked him away! Trust her to make her point by quickly materialising again and flipping Dean the bird before vanishing. Dean better salt and burn the b*tch quick and hope that does the trick, but with the way their luck is going ........ Maybe Dean should go back to the B&B and get some help in his new search for Sam. And just what is it that Eli had to do ... something that is pertinent to what is going on, no doubt. Hope I get time to read the epilogue next Friday but will be at JIB so might be a couple of days late! Sarah
Author's Response: I did have Sam Daphne'd again. It was fun, too. *grins evilly* Hmm, so you think the mysterious Mr Purdue is the link, eh? Well, he could be - or it might be something else entirely... And yes, the reason Eli wanted Virginia gone from the house was to spare her any pain from the past being dredged up. Thanks so much for your help on this, sis. All will be revealed in the final chapter, including the last key to the mystery. hugs Jules

Loved it!!! Poor Sam cant catch a break! i felt kinda sorry for Allie, but i am looking forward to Dean salting her bones! Men, no matter what age, always remember a nice set of boobs! LOL too funny! great chapter! ps- the purple headband comment from last, was because Daphne from Scooby Doo always wore a purple headband in her red hair! LOL! sry i should have been clearer.
Author's Response: Ack! I should have remembered the purple headband! *smacks self upside the head*...sorry, hun. No, poor Sammy really is a target this time. Allie's determined to have him at all costs, and it looks like she's got her way finally. Confident enough to disappear before Dean salted and burned her remains. Hmm..... So glad you liked the bantering between the old guys, and Moss' reminiscing - lol. Thanks hun, hugs Jules

Allie is one seriously messed up ghost! I hope Dean gets her quick! The old guys bantering was hilarious! Fun!
Author's Response: She is indeed! Lots of unresolved issues there. So thrilled that you loved Eli and Moss' bantering, Julie. Was looking forward to writing up to that scene - not that it was one of the ones I'd written ages ago, but I had it in my head as I picked up the story again. So I'm really happy that it panned out as well on 'paper' as it did in my freaky brain. And don't worry - Dean's really on a mission now - lol. He's going to get Allie if it's the last thing he does. Apart from rescue Sam of course. Jules
