I most loved the image of Dean pulling a limp and catatonic Sam into his lap and holding on tight, chest to chest just holding his brother and refusing to let go. Panicked, protective Dean is a favorite flavor and you captured him. Then the ending was perfect. A tired, spent Sam being cared for and gently placed in the car, with Dean in overload and finally recovering from his terror to hear those sweet words, Sam asking him if he was okay. Dean knowing that this was his Sam and that he truly was okay. These boys...man, they sure to tug at the heartstrings and you captured the moment. Thanks, B.J.
Author's Response: BJ...I am so glad you liked it. I thought the tears bringing Sammy around was an intense touch, but something I could actually see happening! And then, of course, the big brother Dean, well that is just what I live for. Big smile from your SH buddy here! D

Great story Denise..so many perspectives from my Safe Haven girls and each one could be what happened. Loved Dean..so freaked, but at the end when Sam ask if he was ok his reponse was relief and joy knowing that Sam should be concerned about himself but only cared how Dean was. His relief was not just knowing Sam was alright, but knowing that this was his Sammy. I have missed your stories lately. I hope this gets you muse going again. I'm off to read the next in our Safe Haven Saga. Talk to you soon. Take care, Jane
Author's Response: So glad you liked my take on the ending here. And you know I live for my limp Sam, big brother Dean. Hugs for my SH bud!

I *love* that you used Sam's quote against Dean like that, thinking back we KNOW Sam said that for a reason and we now know what it is... Aw Dean's tear brought him back! We all know it's Dean that will keep saving him. :) Great story hun! Now where did my box of tissues go....
Author's Response: Oh yippy, you have to find your box of tissues, alas, that was my goal the whole time. Love it when I get a real reaction out of my reader! Huts and thanks for the review!

Awwwww - and that's how we know our Sammy is back - when he asks if Dean is okay despite the fact that he himself feels as if he's been run over by a truck. Sorry I didn't get the second draft, hun. But I love the additions. Sam's girly shampoo, and the chick flick moments that Dean would deny vociferously till his dying day - LOL. But it was a scary moment for Dean when Sam hit the floor and began to convulse - I practically leapt out of the office chair when Sam just cut off mid-sentence and thudded to the floorboards like a dropped sack of potatoes. Holy crap! And of course, the aftermath, with him being so groggy and tired, and Dean in full-on big brother mode, the likes of which we haven't seen for so long - great moments between the brothers. I'm glad we managed to lure you back into writing with this challenge, hun. We've missed you! And if that's what it takes for you to hit the boards, well, I'll just have to come up with a few more challenges to get your fingers back on the keyboard where they belong. hugs Jules
Author's Response: Jules this was just a great idea and I throughly enjoyed writing and reading everyones tags. We are a wonderful group if I must say so myself...and I must!

Great tag, totally believable. Things are back as they should be with Dean being able to be in protective big brother mode now that Sam has his soul and desperately comforting him through his memories of hell. And so typical of Sam to be concerned that Dean is okay too, have so missed that. An enjoyable read Denise. Sarah
Author's Response: As usual, I can always count on you to give me a beaming review. Sometimes your reviews are the only thing keeping me writing. I'm glad you liked this one, and isn't it just the best that SH is so well represented in this little challange. I must say we Rocked It!!

Dean in super big brother mode, so awesome. And Sam, poor kid. When Dean cried, I was hoping Sam would feel it, but to actually have the tears fall on him and sooth his burning skin was just so awesome. Shows the connection they have. Dean rocking and Sam complaining about personal space gave just a little bit of a giggle, although at the same time really touched my heart. So sweet. Hugs, Vonnie
Author's Response: Thanks Vonnie...The tags we wrote are all awesomen. I say we can never have to much limp Sam and big brother Dean and if the writers won't give it to me, well, we will just do it yourselves. Denise
