Reviews For Safe House

So much said in so few words. I especially like that Sam went to Bobby. Some seem to think he wasn't close to Bobby, but I think he was, just not as typically needy as Dean was.

So seeing him here, drunk with pain and yet stone sober is heartbreaking.  This was really powerful and so real, just what I imagine might have happened even tho I'd never thought of it until your story.

Thanks, B.J.

Wow - only just realised this review was here or I'd have replied earlier.

I couldn't really see Sam going anywhere else in that instant and we see a lot about how John and Dean feel but it had to hurt Sam too.

Glad you enjoyed it.

Very well captured, I can see Sam needing a 'Safe House' after his departure. And I am sure he would feel pretty bad about leaving Dean too. And that final few words show the hopelessness he feels.

Nice one, glad to see you back.

Author's Response:

Thank you Jacq - it's good to be back.  I took some time out after the VS and I'm slowly dipping my toe in the water again.  I'm glad you enjoyed this one - thanks for taking the time to review.

Hey hun.

Is this John telling Sam not to come back when he decided to go to Stamford?

It's good that they have Bobby to go to.

Author's Response:

Yes, it's my take on the immediate aftermath of the big fight when John tells Sam not to come back.  I was watching Dead Man's Blood and the idea popped into my head and I just couldn't leave it alone!

Solid piece and beautifully written! You captured Bobby's inner-emotions so well. I simply LOVE the idea of this moment happening! Truly enjoyed the read - KEEP WRITING!

Author's Response: Thank you - I couldn't really picture Sam going anywhere else, even though I don't think it strictly fits with canon.  Oh, well, that's artistic license for you!
