Such poetic embrace of judgment when a young must decide to follow his gut intrest of dealing alone with the enemy following orders of a father in his wild goose chase of dealing with demon to bring down more of a sustained wall that the boys have of their own flesh and blood or listen to the eldest sibling whom was more of a father and other figure to him a hard decision to which now at in present time it goes the same way screwed if you do and fucked if you don't an unhealthly decisive way to form a family with a hunter brand style to be tuff and not ask ... Sammy always my favorite heart of gold with all trust and being stumped in a position where he must decide on his own when he has his sibling who decide on how to approche things this is an awesome chapter I have always wanted to know what exactly happened and you made it that much more eager to continue and enjoy your written scripts if only there was a way that SPN TEAM of writers can see feel sense and be with one of these scriptures youd tall be making us not only proud and happy ... but simply amazed at how SUPERNATURAL has taken this world be not only family and home by to make this show go over its powerful limits to all writers actors that keep antying up the popularity with there perks everyone and you as well as all writers here and everywhere thank you so much and much love respect and blessing to you and family and I was wondering if I may ask for a copy of this story I leave you my password pissedsam74@yahoo.com thank you my friend :) rating for me phenominal

A very tense and heartfelt chapter! I'm looking forward to reading more. It's always interesting when writers add to actual episodes, filling in gaps that are left as they want.
Author's Response: Thanks for this! Hope you enjoyed the rest. :)

Wow... I loved your story! I started reading your next story, 'What comes After' and i can't wait to read the rest! your really good at building the suspense up and getting into the readers head... Despite your reservations i think your writing made the story and the corrections only served as a better means of delivery. Like i said i can't wait to uncover your next mystery!!
Author's Response: Wow, thank you!!! I shamefully admit your review made me all giddy! I sent off the next chappie of WCA to the betas yesterday, so hopefully that'll be up soon. Thanks for reading and for your patience!

First of all, thank you for taking time to read this and and leave comments. Secondly, I'm excited that you enjoyed this story and thankful that you didn't run away screaming in horror, lol. I appreciate your comments. Also, I just started the sequel to it this week and you can find that here as well. Thanks again.

Reviewing this story is something I've been meaning to do for a long time, as well as 'Ramble On' by Gaelicspirit...both stories have been my favourites for as long as I can remember and I'm very glad to have been able to spend the time reading them both again and this time reviewing. So, the last in a fair line of reviews and all exceptionally well deserved. In fact I feel a little sad that I've come to the end..again. It always makes me frustrated though when I read something this good that maybe hasn't had the recognition it clearly deserves. And this work does deserve it. Having read the whole story again over the last three days, I've come to realise exactly how influential your writing has been, especially this story...I can think of five more current posts that could be direct descendants of this work and that doesn't even include my attempts at writing. With that in mind I would like to say a huge 'thank you' for the joy and influence this story has given me, and please don't waste time answering each of these reviews. I would much prefer you spend your time creating the sequel...I'm eagerly waiting for that one... ...and thanks for an excellent few days read! X Louy
Author's Response: *HUGS* You are darling! I sent you an e-mail...hope you got it. If you didn't, I was just gushing all over you and these wonderful, wonderful reviews. Thank you, dear. This is one author who needs all the praise she can get because I never presume to think I'm all that good. I really appreciate the time and thought you put into this. It gave me a smile and made me feel good. Nicole

And this is THE line that will probably stay with me forever...'That he was the key in safeguarding Sam’s soul was ironic at the very least. Dean had always felt that it was Sam’s goodness that had sheltered him from his own inner darkness, keeping it in check. Somehow, in some kind of cosmic twist of fate, the two brothers canceled out the worst in each other, bringing forth the good that would eventually be needed to battle the demon and his plans. Ironic, but somehow right – which is why he needed to be here now, alive and well.' This was writing at it's most profound. And just when I was starting to love John he up and leaves, breaking his boy's hearts yet again...so true of him. But I would still love to know more about Jay...especially now he and John are hunting together...

This chapter always reminded me of that very emotional 'drowning' scene in 'The Abyss'. So incredibly emotional, painful and yet wonderfully uplifting at the end when they manage to bring the victim back. And how beautiful to allow Dean a moment of profound warmth peace and love. If anyone deserves it he does - yet somehow it wasn't surprising that he was accepting of leaving that paradice and returning to his brother's side. How very like Dean...
Reviewer: bulletbabe (Signed) · Date: 13/01/08 11:57 AM · On: Chapter 20: Devils and Heroes
So, onto the final few chapters and the whole analogy of Dean fighting himself is so very poignant and so true to the ethos of his character...and his willingness to give up 'ownership' of his body for the sake of his brother just sums up his totally self sacrificing nature. But it was throwing John into the mix that did it for me - and him finally saying and doing what he needs to in order to save his boys. What a dilemma for Sam. Either his father, or the brother who was more of a father to him than his real dad ever was...you do like to torment with these philosophical questions don't you?...lol
Reviewer: bulletbabe (Signed) · Date: 12/01/08 02:03 PM · On: Chapter 19: Desperate Rituals
WoW - Desperate rituals is right. The end of this one had my heart in my mouth - again... I always thought the trust John and Sam placed in Jay, his family and the ritual was very interesting. I always thought I'd like to know more about Jay and exactly what past he and John shared to enable that sort of relationship. And the ritual itself was just beautifully described, would like to have been a fly on the wall during that one... ...and of course the continual lack of most clothes (especially on dean) is another very valid reason why I love this story...lol
Reviewer: bulletbabe (Signed) · Date: 12/01/08 01:46 PM · On: Chapter 18: Regrets
I feel so sorry for John in this one. He was trying so damned hard, talking to Sam and trying to pour out his heart the best he could, and then to try again, the way only John Winchester could by almost ordering his oldest boy to get better...like that would make a difference. And then just as he reaches out to comfort his boy, the touch makes it all a hundred times worse. Yeah, I feel very sorry for him right now, but once again, everything you've written is so true to character. And thank goodness for Jay, that's all I can say... oh, and lovely little shared memory between Sam and Dean regarding Sam's panic attack and how he met Jess...that was just lovely!
Reviewer: bulletbabe (Signed) · Date: 12/01/08 01:33 PM · On: Chapter 17: Hopes and Fears
I absolutely love this chapter. You start by examining Dean's thoughts and feelings about Sam, and how he was responsible for taking him away from 'normal'...and then finish with the exact opposite, Sam's thoughts and feelings about Dean and how he want's him to have 'normal'. Don't know if you did that on purpose but it works. That coupled with the idea that Dean would be prepared to wallow in his illness if it meant keeping Sam away from the YED - just great...
Reviewer: bulletbabe (Signed) · Date: 12/01/08 01:13 PM · On: Chapter 16: Frail
It's these chapters, the ones that concentrate on emotional dialogue and beautifully described flashes of memory that help make this story what it is. The whole section that starts 'That was how John Winchester found his boys...' is just fantastic. Even the first time I read it, I had to go back and read it again. And again Missouri telling John exactly what's on her mind...she's just not scared of anyone is she...?
Reviewer: bulletbabe (Signed) · Date: 12/01/08 01:00 PM · On: Chapter 15: Until it Sleeps
Missouri really is great isn't she. I know I've said it before but she always knows just what to say. And Jay - another great character, and even though you described him in a very minimal way, he was real for me from the first second. And I also thought how great that John Winchester had actually managed to retain some friends along the way. It was very touching, the way Dean handed over control to Sam, once again proving the new and deeper bond between them... ...and then the final reveal...If Dean is to survive he will have to learn to fight for himself instead of for others... What's not to love ...moving on...
Reviewer: bulletbabe (Signed) · Date: 11/01/08 02:58 PM · On: Chapter 14: Unleashed
Was going to stop for the night on the last chapter but just couldn't wait. This whole chapter was just so well written I was there in the room. I could see the heat and raw anger oozing from John's eyes as he questioned his oldest and didn't get the answers he wanted. And then the 'don't disappoint me again' line was perfect...the straw that breaks Deans back and in the most agonising and crushing of ways. But then, when you just start to feel like you want to slap John around a little, he's crushed too by the weight of the revelations coming from Dean. Truly don't know who to feel sorrier for; the broken son being tricked by the demon into believing these horrible thoughts or the broken dad who can't bring himself to make it right. Awesome chapter...going to move on tomorrow...

Heart in mouth moment. The end of this chapter was just fantastic. Dean standing up to his dad, for the first time in who knows how long and knowing deep down that he's pushing all the old man's buttons...wow Loved Sam's reaction to everything going on and thank God for Missouri. Another great chapter!
