Now that I suppose sam know how dean feels something is going to make a big change. This is better than what was trully presented and I like the imagery that is showen.

I love the way you have demonstrated the connection between the boys here, and the new insight that the visions gave to Sam. Loved this line: No, he couldn’t heal his brother, but he could love him. *sneaks into yet another internet cafe* I read this one on the plane my dear and loved it! The connection, their bond, this was just so cool. I am going to have to thank Nana for requesting this. I am enjoying the AZ sun...until about noonish. Then all of a sudden my Michigan body wants to go find a cooler to lock myself inside. I keep trying to leave you cookies over at ff.net and they say I already have????? My doppleganger must be on the lose, but when I get home to Michigan, I'll be leaving you love in its rightful spot. Author's Response: I've never been to AZ, but I hear that it doesn't have much humidity...sounds good to me about now. The humidity is so bad today, I had to turn on the air even though it's only 73 degrees outside. I hate humidity! We're supposed to have thunderstorms all week...and so far, we have. I loved that episode and this just completes it. Sam seeing Dean wanting everyone else's happiness is heartbreaking. The bond they share is so rare.

That was truly beautiful and a nice way to fill in some missing pieces. I really liked the idea that Sam could have visions that weren't related in some way to the YED, but simply to the intense connection he has to his brother. This little gem brightened up a dreary, rainy day for me!

This was fabulous. Thanks for filling in Sam. I love the connection you have established between the boys. Now, I know that you've watched this at least as many times as I have, so did you notice the number on John's ball uniform? It's 66 in an interstate symbol!
Author's Response: Lol! No, I didn't notice that. I admit, I was in too much shock that John was IN a ball uniform :) Next time I watch, I'll definitely have to notice. And, thanks for the feedback...you know, the show for me is all about the connection between the boys, even if it isn't as literal as I sometimes write it.

I wondered when we'd get to see this fic -- I'm so glad you wrote it!
I have always liked the idea you presented in WUC with Sam and Dean's emotional connection -- Dean needing to keep it cloistered, but unable to do so when things got bad enough. This was one of my favorite episodes of Season 2, and if the WUC universe were real, it would certainly be these events that would seriously reconnect the boys. I liked, too, the idea that Sam saw what Dean had gone through. You described the pain of the visions very well (poor Sam). And when you recounted the lines from the show, my heart hurt all over again.

Author's Response: Well, to tell you the truth, I always enjoy it when Sam gets to peek in on Dean. It's the only way for him to truly "see" his brother. And, it was nice to have chance to verbalize how I felt about Sam's facial expressions.
