Liked it. Loved the rhythm of the repeated phrases...like a fading heartbeat and loved the "Help isn't coming. The darkness comes instead.". So much menace in that phrase!

Ahh, that is so soothing to have a S1 tale of hurt Dean, Sam rescuing him and a simple hunt! Nice one. Even though its a little late, Happy Birthday? lol

Brilliant one-shot. Very good choice of words, it never gets boring. You create strong feelings and make one want to reach out and help Dean. Very well done!

I miss the days of the boys being there for each other. I hope they bring that back to the show soon. Meanwhile, I enjoyed your story and having those brother moments here that we haven't seen on the show for awhile.
